My macbook is a year old and makes a fizzing noise. I'm not quite sure if it's the fan or the hard drive. it's in the lower right corner and i'm going to take it to the apple store while it's still under warranty. all i know is, that sound isn't normal. and i agree with u.... the fact that ppl don't have the right facts about these comps shouldn't saying anything. especially if they don't own one. but, interesting how it started making that sound... weird O.o
@PQPLAYER92 I appreciate your comment. There is a difference between fan running at maximum speed with fan running at full speed with buzzing sound on it. Like the bearing is loose or something. Even apple care agreed, that there is a problem. And one more thing you are 1 year too late. keep your fact straight and sarcasm to yourself
I once took up my macbook, while holding it with my left hand, supporting it at the top left of the MBP. Apparently the fan is around there, and because of the weight of the MBP there was some force at that top left corner. This pressure indented the case, making it hit the fan and made some loud noise. It scared the shit out of me!
Sometimes when I take my MBP out of my sleeve after carrying it I hear this sound too.
Hey, how much did it cost you in the apple store? Was it under guarantee?
I saw I can buy a new fan on the Internet and is quite easy to replace...
Thanks
