    macn

  • The only thing that may have made this less enjoyable to the people on the street is the fellow creeping around with a camera.

  • thank was wonderful man!!! peace from the usa ...

  • thats amazing playing mate so much feeling put into it which for me is what makes a great guitarist. I have been playing blues guitar for around a few years now and I am hoping one day to busk also. I really love how you use the effects pedals. I can't imagine ever having to put down my guitars, they are my voice.

  • Mate, i would travel to dublin just to hear you play. fucking brilliant.

  • wanking is something that everybody likes, crhymethinc especially likes it cos its been mentioned in 2 comments, cheers for the vid dude, amazing stuff.

  • wanking. without the lyrics this song is nothing but wanking.

  • Please go away.

  • Great, loving it ;-)))))

  • bellissima performance

peccato.che chi ti passa affianco non riconosca in te un talento

  • bellissima performance

  • Excellent guitar playing.

  • It's a NUMBER. Three lone digits does not call down a magical being.

  • Holy Crap that sounds good! I just stumbled across your site through Rangerwingman. You need to be on stage with an arena full of screaming fans. Totally awesome dude. I've been playing (strumming) for about 30 years and have no hope of coming close to how you play. Keep it up man , talernt like yours can't hide forever.

  • fuck, this guy can play

  • Great!!!

  • thank you sir

  • that was awesome!..don't want to put anything on your playing where there may not be...but your playing is very reminiscent of George Lynch to me.....but your version of Neil is friggin' great!

  • Thank God for people like You !

  • i would like to jam with you

  • Who is this guy from Dublin? I thought so so from the beginning then really got into it. He must be Neil youngs long lost son. Well done.

  • Dats the dawgs! Loved it, keep it up me man

  • Excellent....keep it up

  • fuckin sweet

  • Dude, that was incredible. You floored me.

  • I used to play in the streets of Philadelphia some moons ago. You are wonderful. I am sending your video to my grandson in Florida, USA; you are inspiring! Thanks so much for this video! Peace, Love & Rock 'n Roll - Goddess of Massage

  • amazing dude

  • i don't understand please yaur setting pedal i've a DS-1 BOOS thank's

  • hi man . i 've just one question where are you setting your distortion pedal effect? thank's

  • very last

  • @guitardan666 Why do you have 666 in your name? I hope your not trying to be evil or anything!

  • oh its a long story i was very metal for years and got my first email in 94 so i took that name and i have used it ever since but it has been a curse and people just put me down as a metal satany dude which is not me at all so i guess the devil is having a laugh at my expense

  • @1091Floyd21

    It's just a number, noob.

  • @bobalot2 As you can see from his reply cretin, it was more than a number.

  • Fantastic! Wish you all the best!

  • Great interpretation of one of my favorites.

  • Well done!

  • Nice playing, nice guitar, nice city, nice day. I used to play in the streets too. This video has captured the magic this man gave as a present some day in Dublin. There are a lot of artists out there, urban gifts. Don't lose this, keep them in our countries. Don't forbid the street arts.

  • dude you should do your own compositions and do clubs..you absolutely got talent..no doubt about that

  • I've been looking for somebody who can play the RHCP songs live they were played at slane, and i think you can pull that off. Don't forget me i believe would be a perfect song to fit your style

  • Where is all your equipment plugged in? Is it possible to have a battery to plug this stuff into, so that you can bring it pretty much anywhere?

  • sure, battery powered amps and pedals man very easy to do

  • I've got an idea: Why not do a version exactly thr same as what Neil Young did in the studio version of the song. How come no one does that? I mean, you have the guitar abilities, right?

How hard would it be to get the exact sound he got though? Would that require lots of expensive equipment that only Neil has??

  • Dont want to sound begrudging or anything but this does'nt remotely sound like "Like A Hurricane"!

  • that wouldnt be begrudging at all man its your opinion! I appreciate you leaving your comment and thanks for listening, your acoustic style is excellent by the way and great tone, thanks again

  • Thanks for your compliment! I I do a cover of "Like A Hurricane"" myself and I would have you solo on it anytime. Definitely nice playing man.

  • You are a tool in every sense of the word if you dont think this sounds similar to like a hurricane! I want to see you try this song on electric

  • Goddamn I hate shit like this. 4+ minutes of guitar wankery.

  • Great tone, great playing. If it's a cover, however, it should be titled that way. Some of us clicked expecting to hear Neil. Can't tell it's a cover without clicking--hence wasted time and effort.

  • When was this???

  • Excellent dude, would [me] like to add a bit of bass to it.

  • absolutly fan fucKING TASTIC

  • fukin brilliant!!!

  • wow this is really, really good.

  • oy .fucking great

  • Dan this is fuckin class

  • thanks man....cool name u have there....saw dimmu in finland 2 years ago....amazing!!!!

  • I'll second that! How the fuck can people just walk by? I'd have been standin there all day listenin 2 that!!! Outstandin!

  • I don't know either ! :)) Maybe he's really on stage and that's a hell of realistic backdrop ;) LOVE this :))))

  • verry good man :D

  • bravo...bravo

  • Can you tell me please how do you achieve this beautiful tone? I know that your fingers are responsible for that, but what amp is that??? I've seen in one of your videos a black and a yellow amp, but I might be mistaken. Could you tell me your usual setup which you take on these jam sessions? Thank you so much in advance!

  • hey roz sorry for the late reply im just back from touring Slovenia so im getting a few hundred messages just now,yep i use the freedom amp by electroharmonix it really is a killer amp sounds like a tube amp and goes on a battery! i use a little delay and a sampler pedal by boss the rc-20 and a boss overdrive thats about it!

  • Hey, cool! Hope that you're having fun! Thanks for the answer, I found one of your videos with your gear which is amazing. That's a freaking shame that the freedom amp isn't manufactured anymore. You're lucky that you've got three of them :) they're in fact fabulous. Anyway if you may answer this in your spare time I'd be grateful. What amp would you suggest that has a similar tone? If I'm not mistaken you have these 3 amps and one for acoustic...

Cheers and thanks for writing back!!!

    Paul

  • it aint made anymore???? jeeeez thats scary because thats my livlihood!!! if anythin happens to the others im fucked!! pignose is ok not bad punchy and heavy but also heavy to carry! and the vox busking amp aint bad stay away from the roland boss busking amps tinny tone but loads of effects

  • Thanks a lot for the advice!!! I'm just a beginner and a big Pink Floyd fan. One day I'll buy a decent gear and since I'm shit at playing guitar I can't afford to make a mistake and be unsatisfied for the rest of my life :P Guitars in Poland are even more expensive than in Ireland. We'd have to pay for instance 1500$ for a guitar which is worth 800$, fucking cunts ;/ I'll never buy guitar in Poland. As it goes for the amp, I'd bet that some electrician could copy it for you...

  • Great work there dude. Awesome guitar. Did you buy it like that or did you do it up?

  • What type of guitar is it please?

  • hey Floyd its a USA custom BC RICH built for the Irish market. cost a few quid! have the paper work signed by Bernie Rico, its got a lovely mother of pearl shamrock in the head too!

  • So it's a USA custom BC RICH built for the Irish market. Where did you pick it up? How come it only cost a few quid. How come it sounds so good?

  • got it in a local music store here,it was sitting in the shop for years, crazy price tag €3000!! (over $5000)but i got it in a sale for €1200 so that was a bargain, yeah the shamrock apparantly makes it a rarer model of BC rich than usual ,just has stock dimarzios in it but they are really loud!! great guitar, love it

  • fantastic, awesome ..what do you do in the street, dude ???

  • awesome job...cheers from new haven CT. usa

  • too good for the street,,,

  • Damn...that was an awesome improv man. I couldn't do that in front of all those people walking around, but you got the talent of course. Do you need a permit or anything to play in the street, or do the cops just leave you alone?

Also couldn't help noticing some people dressing like it was winter outside and some people wearing summer clothes lol. Weird. Anyway, you got another fan from me. Keep rocking.

  • 5 stars

  • Excellent great lead work there, and what better than to do it in your local high street.

  • OUTFUCKINSTANDING!

  • My heavens! The day Neil Young dies you should enjoy a few pints of Guiness and play this tune with even more energy and speed... if that's even possible! Great job.

  • hey man come to Greece you 're gonna make money for sure. You are excellent, very sentimental...

  • Efharisto man!

  • Beautifully magnificent! And so many people passing by in mindless ambivalence...Your spirit is gloriously transcendent & lifts me away...thank you:)

  • well im glad you liked it man hank hmmm yeah i tried to keep it lyrical and simple notes i guess not too busy....thanks for your thoughts

  • excellent

  • Definitely a Pink Floyd ethereal quality there. You've got a good sound going.

Saw Neil Young in Malahide too, and to be honest I'm not really a fan of his (had a spare Mark Knopfler ticket and traded) but I'd rather listen to you any day. Very cool style and you obviously put a lot of feeling into it. Nice guitar by the way, what is it if you don't mind me asking? It looks a bit like a Fernandes. Keep at it, I could listen to that sort of stuff all day. Worth a trip to Dublin!

  • thanks man actually its a US custom shop once off made for the irish market a BC rich, mother of pearl shamrock inlays etc very sweet!! one piece maghony and emerald green....expensive but worth it!thanks again
