  • My father, Genaro V. Lopez, was a supply Sargent in the 101st at Bastogne. He is still alive at 88 and remembers how his skin goose-bumped when the order "Fix Bayonets" was given. I would like to see if any members of the Battered Bastards of Bastogne are in Texas.

    Anybody know?

  • My uncle Roy Hobbs served as a medic in Patton's 3rd Army. God Bless Him. He is many years gone but helped many a soldier and received the Combat Medic Badge, The Bronze and Silver Star. I followed in his footsteps to Iraq. I never received the Silver Star however. I am very proud of his sacrifice.
