Here's another vote in favour of your design White Pagan. Those new, oh so colourful creations are bloody awful! They look like cheap toys, or containers for detergents and cleaning products. In your design you've shown dalek designs that should be obvious to the programmes producers.

Would have loved to have seen these come out from the machine instead - I just have that horrid memory when I didn't know whether to laugh and just sat with my mouth open thinking 'Did they actually pay someone to come up with these travesties!'. Never rewatched the episode again so far.

The old ones are apparently just going to be the muscle of the New Paradigm, with them being the Officer class. Plus, even if there was a Dalek Civil war, the Paradigm would win, they can vaporise Old Daleks in one shot!
@FowardUntoDawn13 The Paradigm Daleks were only able to vaporize those 3 old style daleks because the latter party let them by turning off their shields as they regarded themselves as impure and worthy of death.
Steven Moffat has said the RTD Daleks will return due to the new one's being so heavily critisized. Good thing to, the new one's look like they're made of plastic. And they're fat.
@ironjoker101 The New Paradigm Daleks are much better than the Time War Daleks, I've already said that I know that the Classic Dalek design is going to return, but apparently just as the muscle of the New Paradigm. I hated the bronze RTD Daleks but I had to deal with them for 6 years, so now everyone else needs to just stop complaining and accept that we now have these Daleks for a while. Get over them.
@ironjoker101 Plus, Moffat has not backpeddled due to the 'negative reception' of these Daleks, the Classic design dalek was always going to return, just not this soon. The New Paradigm is just a story arc. Plus, haven't you seen the Doctor Who Adventure Game: City of the Daleks, or the New Graphic Novel: The Only Good Dalek? In both of those we see an entire Dalek army comprised of the New Paradigm style. The same thing happened with the Cybusmen 3 years ago.
@ironjoker101 They were only criticized because they never killed anyone, they only made the doctor let them get away. The RTD dalek killed like 200 people in its first episode. Personally I miss the original daleks. I think they should blend, classic, new and rtd daleks into a mesh of a new look.

IMHO, since it's not supposed to be "NEW" Daleks but Pure ones, I think it would have been nice to just have some of the different colorations from the classic series; ie: Silver/Blue - Dead Planet, Grey/Black - Genesis, White/Gold - Remembrance, plus some movie daleks.
I mean no offence, but i cannot take Daleks without their sinkplungers seriously, and the Dalek Supreme looks like a mascot for the AA ^^ With those orange lights and all!

WP- I totally agree with you!! The new Daleks would be more streamline and have the claw instead of the (stupid) plunger, to make them a more effective killing machine!! LOL I never understood the choices made for the new Daleks. Why would they get bigger and bulkier and not upgrade their appendages???
@cheekygirl8 i think it was the fact they found dislike in being shorter than the doctor so they decided to become taller than him. and that extra "bulk" in the back is actully a new storage system for a super power weapon (maybey some sort of wepon that can incinerate a tareget or preventing one from regenerating), hence the removal of the solar panels so the weapon can slide out easily. as for th removal of the grll and awsome head, beats me. Although i actully LOVE the color design.

It dosent matter now coz the old daleks ARE indeed returning alongside the shitty new ones. My only problem with these ones it would be hard to tell them apart and to remember which one was which.

I just want to say that I think that the new Daleks are a massive improvement on previous series, the 2005-2009 were an improvement on the earlier ones and the 1963-1987 were absolutely awful in every regard. The BBC have done a first class service to Doctor Who by perfecting the iconic villian.
i love to see eveyone one pissing about the new daleks but everyone was liek the same when the ones before took over the old daleks and you gotta think why maybe are thay this big and have, what looks like doors / vents on the back of them i think something will be shown in the new series
@MaxHaworth when the first picture of the 2005 daleks was released people weren't 100% happy but when they appeared on screen everyone loved them, so that is nothing like the new ones, they appeared in the radio times, everyone hated them then, they appeared on screen, everyone still hated them and even more by that point and now 9 months later we still hate them so something tells me it is nothing like when the 2005 daleks took over at all, we are not going to get use to them, they need to go!

What was wrong with the NSD's? Feck-all IMHO where as the Ikea inflatables had nothing right with them and most Dalek people I know don't even class them as Daleks. They're a bag-o-shite marketing ploy and a disgrace to the BBC who are simply getting too greedy - IMHO :)

The New Daleks we have noew are better than the ones shown here. There's not enough difference in the ones you made here. The Daleks have gone back to their original state of having a clear ranking system and that is in no way a bad thing

the only things i dont like about those designs are the claws because i ne ver liked daleks with claws and i also dont really like the circle shapes under the eye stalk they look a bit too big and out of place, i also dont like the things on the daleks ears at the far right but i dont mind it too much due to the fact that it is only on one of them apart from that they are fantastic designs billions better than the new daleks (i hate them) but not qwite as good as the previous new series daleks
Animation is nice, but I really wouldn't like if these were the designs they used in the series. Mechmaster's models don't fit well with the rest of Doctor Who. Bit too unnecessarily detailed and complicated, and not a step forward in anyway.
@Whitepagan In the classic series, the plungers had suction that was used to pick up almost anything and the Ironsides also held tea in "Victory of the Daleks," but the claw is a cool change. I prefer these designs much more than the ones that have been used recently.

The new telituby daleks are being replaced with 1967 daleks. (William Hartnall) era daleks. this was stated in The Sun news paper.

I just want to say that I think that the new Daleks are a massive improvement on previous series, the 2005-2009 were an improvement on the earlier ones and the 1963-1987 were absolutely awful in every regard. The BBC have done a first class service to Doctor Who by perfecting the iconic villian.

i love to see eveyone one pissing about the new daleks but everyone was liek the same when the ones before took over the old daleks and you gotta think why maybe are thay this big and have, what looks like doors / vents on the back of them i think something will be shown in the new series

@MaxHaworth when the first picture of the 2005 daleks was released people weren't 100% happy but when they appeared on screen everyone loved them, so that is nothing like the new ones, they appeared in the radio times, everyone hated them then, they appeared on screen, everyone still hated them and even more by that point and now 9 months later we still hate them so something tells me it is nothing like when the 2005 daleks took over at all, we are not going to get use to them, they need to go!

What was wrong with the NSD's? Feck-all IMHO where as the Ikea inflatables had nothing right with them and most Dalek people I know don't even class them as Daleks. They're a bag-o-shite marketing ploy and a disgrace to the BBC who are simply getting too greedy - IMHO :)

@jonwayneisgod Dalek storm was created by the guy who created these Daleks he appears in the Second Empire comic i also have the 3D model of him as well as his 5 friends they look the same but have different heavy weapons

@Whitepagan Well that is the man the BBC should have talked to he knows what a Dalek should look like! Sadly the new new series Daleks just are hard to take seriously. Maybe BBC wanted that to happen so they would not need to make more Dalek episodes? And Speaking of the new Daleks I can not believe they had one BEGGING for mercy! Daleks have no concept of the meaning of the word Mercy! And they have no fear of death!

@jonwayneisgod yes, bu that time that the dalek begged for mercy was when dalek history dissapeared...meaning that it wouldnt matter on the past, as it was gone during that time

I like the idea of the claw, provided it can be retracted and different tools - inc the plunger - popped out.

not sure about the claws mate but them colours are perfect the new colours are to bright u made them feel and look dominant big and scary which was what we should have seen on victory of the daleks well done mate.

The New Daleks we have noew are better than the ones shown here. There's not enough difference in the ones you made here. The Daleks have gone back to their original state of having a clear ranking system and that is in no way a bad thing

the only things i dont like about those designs are the claws because i ne ver liked daleks with claws and i also dont really like the circle shapes under the eye stalk they look a bit too big and out of place, i also dont like the things on the daleks ears at the far right but i dont mind it too much due to the fact that it is only on one of them apart from that they are fantastic designs billions better than the new daleks (i hate them) but not qwite as good as the previous new series daleks

Animation is nice, but I really wouldn't like if these were the designs they used in the series. Mechmaster's models don't fit well with the rest of Doctor Who. Bit too unnecessarily detailed and complicated, and not a step forward in anyway.

@Whitepagan In the classic series, the plungers had suction that was used to pick up almost anything and the Ironsides also held tea in "Victory of the Daleks," but the claw is a cool change. I prefer these designs much more than the ones that have been used recently.
