One of the toughest songs I've ever sang. We have a group of 18 doing it in my choir. I think it sounds better than having only 1 or 2 people on each part, cuz the voices really stick out on this song, and the tenor is driving me crazy!
my high school chorus is doing this song for our spring concert but we are only letting the girls sing. i hope i remember to record and put it on youtube

Where is your bass? It will sound much more balanced with it. Did you deliberately do without bass? Though there's not many problems at your pitch and harmony, but the overall feelings I get is RUSH! Were you guys late for the next show?

Positives: Sound very together, and have a good sense of the pitch center. Very in tune.
Negatives: Work on getting rid of the accent. It's messing with some of the vowels, and the sound is too bright, imho. Also, I find this to be a tad too fast, but that's just personal taste.
Overall, I would say that this is a good performance. Very difficult song, well executed. Nice job.

west haven high school choir did it the best without the doubt wow they were very amazing espically their altos its magnificant now theres some REAL talent

Personally, I didn't like this version. It might have something to do with the sound in general - I think they sing too exhausted, with bad breathing and a bad English diction. The bar is really high for this song anyway, as nothing can beat the original. BUT, nice tempo (just a bit higher than TRG) and the harmonics on the opening is good :-)

I think it's a good effort...obviously it's not perfect, but we all know the Real group does it best. I think every group who tries to cover this song should get a thumbs up because it's a challenging song and it takes a lot of practice and perseverance to sing it. SO good job. but yeah, tempo needs help and same with the harmonies, but great great job.

Once you've heard the Real Group, everything else comes second. These guys' accents make it sound a bit weird and it is rushed. But a good effort nonetheless as it's a hard piece to perform.
I am in a group that sings this song and this is the best version with male voices that I have heard. Ours is better of course!!! Go Second Sopranos!!!

The whole bass part mimics the string bass, so there is no real part for it.
I'm singing this song in my Vocal Jazz group and it is really tough. We never keep pitch throughout the song, always change key..

but overall you did well, there were a couple spots in there but you all recovered.

Tempo is all over the place, speeding up and slowing down over and over again. And the tone is a bit bright. But then again it is a tough tune.
