Thanks again, Rob! the problem i'm finding is making the display larger, although commercial versions do up to 90". I think if you make it a relatively small image you can get the laminar fog flow to happen without the buffering air streams. in building this i found ultrasonic pond foggers didn't work as well as an infant humidifier, but try it out and let me know how it works! oh, and you don't have a higher resolution render of this, do you?

BTW I am working on a similar system for my full-size R2 holoprojector based upon a miniature ultrasonic fogger. It won't be exactly screen accurate, but the idea is to have the fogger tip deploy at the end of R2's computer arm from his front panel, then the vid would display on that. Your video is really motivating me to get back to work on it!

I see you got the vapor into a nice flat plane- that's the trick. Some think you can just project into a cloud, but with no discreet focal plane it doesn't work as well.- Rob
