One of the first songs I ever heard from Owl City that's kept me hooked. I also really prefer this compared to the newer version. It's got more of that "dreamy" quality that his earlier songs are known for. It relaxes my whole mind and body whenever I close my eyes and listen to this :)

I can't hear the difference. This one is a little more guitar-y, but I don't see what you people are fussing about. The two versions are very similar, I had to listen to them one right after the other to hear it, and even now, it's hardly there at all. T_T

So i spent about 1.5 hrs listening to this last night to see how the verisons are different....BIG TIME!!!!! Planes to stars......also from 2:40-3:15 is different the new one has a guitar riff in at 3:00....plus i think this one is slowers, more meaning and the other one, the acoustic is brought out more, and there is a duet. My observation....still LOVE THEM BOTH!!!!!!

the difference is what i found was there is a break at about 1:45 to 1:53 the newer version doesnt have that break. Also he responds in the girls solo with "Yea all the time," and it has an extra background gutiar.

Well the difference is that in the new version it says 'looking up at the stars that aren't there anymore' in the old version it's 'looking up at the planes that aren't there anymore'

and another part in the new version says 'I feel warm with your hand in mine, when we walk along the shoreline' but the old says 'I feel as if I were hung some nights, when we count out all the ship lights'

plus the new version sounds much more cleaned up, But I like both versions equally:)
