Seitzy i totally agree with you. his lyrica are pretty beautiful, but deeep down they're punk. THey have a few slow songs (Good Riddance, September Ends) but are stilll one of the best punk bands of all time
as a Green Day fan since 1994 (just cuz i was born in 1993 doesn't mean i didn't listen to them back then) i don't think they've changed much. they always have Punk in they're veins, billie's lyrics always have those random long words in them that you have to go to the dictionary to understand the song, and right after the second chorus is a breakdown of the riff. fuckin awesome
