  • I feel like this piece only works when all the musicians understand it and play with perfect timing. Thanks for uploading this performance, I hadn't heard the piece before.

  • God, at least the last chord could have been together.

  • thanks a lot for posting this. its wonderful music, so wonderfully played. a great discovery here.

  • Can someone explain to me the appeal of this composition? I find it absolutely terrible and lifeless.

  • It sounds pantonal and modal at the same time. For me, that's almost miraculous. The pantonality gives it a sense of depth and mystery that it wouldn't have were it simply modal.

  • @Spaceboy492 your mom is absolutely terrible and lifeless.

  • @Spaceboy492 In terms of music history, this piece represents an attempt to create the 'perfect music.' At this point, composers absolutely rejected at music up until this point. Since it had been composed before, it was inferior. This type of music was composed using a complex series of tones, where no note was more important than the next.

  • I've known this music for decades. But I have never seen it performed. It is quite an experience just to watch this. Thank you for uploading.

  • Thank you so much for this up ! This piece is just wonderful, I waited a long time to hear a live performance of it. Thank you !!!!

  • Una de las mejores piezas de Stravinsky
