  • That was the worst thing I have ever seen. I hope you all are not film students, some people should not be allowed near a camera, or act, or cinematography which there clearly was none, sorry, that was poor.

  • what is the first song? it's beautiful

  • The song is 'The Lake' by Aqualung. We thought the lyrics fit well, not to mention the way that its sung made everything more dramatic, which is what we were going for. :]

  • nice. the music and the editing captured that scene pretty well, and it was acted decently too. you didn't really emphasize the tragedy of that scene too much (henry is dead and that meeting is merely the tailend of a relationship that henry's time thing helped mould) but that's the only thing i would have done differently. good stuff!

  • henry!

  • Sorry, I don't mean to be harsh. I guess I'm just a little obsessive about this book. I'm almost scared to see the movie, for fear that they might botch a lot of really important stuff. Decent effort, though.

  • i cant believe u said that. i am the same!!! i adore this book so much!!

  • "I shift my weight from one foot to the other and the floor creaks; the woman turns and sees me and her face is remade into joy; I am suddenly amazed; this is Clare, Clare old! and she is coming to me, so slowly, and I take her into my arms."

This didn't really capture the scene accurately enough for me. Clare is supposed to be 82. Here, she's practically running into Henry's arms. Also the "Clare?" "Henry! You're back" dialogue seemed really cheesy, and definitely out of place.

  • We did what we could with what we had. I mean, first of all it's an 'abridged' version (Henry's letter is so long!), we were high schoolers with limited resources, and movies change things all the time anyway so we edited things to make it work for our project. Project-wise, we received an 'A' and many compliments.

  • That was really sweet! I had tears in my eyes at the hug, and at "Time is Nothing". Congrats :)

  • That's MY house! Mwahahahaha.

  • and Laura's high pitched "do it again, do it again it's funny"

  • Psh. Whatever. It was funny...

  • WHOA! NOICE. Now everyone can see our awesome filming skillz.

    "CLAAAARREEEE..." <3
