  • Joan Rivers didn't make the Bahamas Week on Hollywood Squares in 1988?

  • Actually, WoF didn't come to WABC until the fall of 1990...HS was replaced by Entertainment Tonight (which originally occupied the 7:30 PM slot on Ch. 7, but moved over to Ch. 9 for the 86-87 and 87-88 seasons).

  • It made for two great hours of game shows. You had Gong and HS from 6 to 7 on WPIX, Jeopardy! at 7 on WABC, and Wheel at 7:30 on WCBS.

  • @johnissoevil - Indeed it did...and during the first half of the 88-89 season, you also had The New Liar's Club and Relatively Speaking back to back from 6-7 on Long Island-based WLIG, in addition to Win Lose or Draw on WCBS at 7 and Combs FF at 7:30 on WNBC...decisions, decisions! LOL

  • It did the first two seasons. The third and final season was on WPIX.

  • @manhizzy - Indeed it did...and to top it off, sometime in early 89, WPIX moved the show from 6:30 PM to 9 AM...you could tell they were nearing the end @ that point!

  • Wow, I grew up on Davidson H2 and I never knew they went to my home country.

  • This makes me miss the John Davidson version of HS a lot more!!! Thanks for the Bahamas Week promos? Do you also have the weeks where they were at Hollywood, Florida and Radio City Music Hall by any chance?

  • Glad you like the promo. Sorry I don't have any other Hollywood Squares promos other than the ones I posted here.
