And as you said the euro actually is not a suitable currency for us we would be better off with a national currency that we can devalue. @ypruss Actually I could not really care because I am Austrian, BUT I do know their exports are Pharmaceuticals, food products, IT products, Intel Chips etc. They also have a low corporation tax which attracts investment. I also read that wages are falling in Ireland, meaning improved competition. I know people from Greece and they tell me they are emigrating to Ireland and the UK for work. I do not think they will default because their revenue intake is stronger to weather this. BBC are anti-EU

Albanians are majority muslims and the Arvanites of Greece have had a very long history fighting with Muslim Albanians, especially ones working for the Ottoman Empire. They identify themselves as a separate from Albanians. They always have. Even in the days of the revolution.

Greeces current situation has but 2 remedies.
1) take a temporary leave of absence from the EU. This would allow them to devalue there currency to improve trade. They would still have a favored trading pact with the EU members. this would also apply to international trade.
This would last until Bruusels decided that there economies were solid and that they could rejoin the EU as full member states.
This can be done volentairily or by vote of members.
