@DJUsive1 Sorry but I think you're chatting balls. I mix vinyl myself, but to say that CDJs do all the work for you is complete bollocks. Sure they make parts of the mixing process easier, but you still have to be able to beat match in order to mix on them. You make it sound like anyone could just walk up to a set of CDJs and mix like a pro. Just isn't true.

That's my point, it takes pretty much all the skill out of something that on vinyl is an art. Beat matching becomes vastly simpler when you don't have anything else to think about it, and the majority of CDJ's have BPM read-outs to tell you exactly how close you are to mixed.

And no, nobody can walk up to any set of decks and mix like a pro but on CDJ's the learning curve is vastly shortened - and then anyone with enough money can claim they're an amazing DJ.

@mkjell although vinyl is obviously what most djs would use in an ideal world the stuffs dam expensive. If SpectraSoul wants to showcase a new tune hes just made it doesnt make sense to spend shit loads pressing the tune and shit when he can just export to MP3 or WAV for next to nothing.. also MP3s make it cheaper for people to get into the scene and build up their music collection.. just my arguement for MP3's =) but vinyls far from dead!
