@lvatha I noticed that the first time I saw the movie, what I'm thinking is.. That shotgun would stop at least an elephant.. but a Rex?? Is he stupid?? If he had shot the rexes with that shotgun, he would've ended being up bald sandwich for a two dinosaurs pretty pissed off.

Yeah, but in that case, there was two Rexes. That's my point, there's no way in hell that he could've killed 'em both with that gun, the Rexes would've mauled him in seconds, even if he shot at them, in the time that takes him to reload the rifle the rexes would've approached and killed him. And even if he ran away, it wouldn't be very difficult for the rexes to catch him. Good thing that vaughn took those damn shells off.

The CGI for T-Rex from 2:01 to 2:08 is fucking flawless....
I find it funny though that the supposedly ''Good Guys'' in this film, got the hunter's entire camp an equipment destroyed, then brought an infant Tyrannosaurus no less to there trailer, caused the death of Eddie an the destruction of there equipment. Then after the hunter's save them, there actually the reason the Rex's continued stalking them, then STEALS there bullet's, n then runs into Raptor territory

If the genetic engineers increased the T-rex's speed to 30 miles per hour (which Hammond said in the 1st film), why is it running this slowing? At 30 miles hr, it can outrun them all, but instead the people outrun it. xD
okey guys a head up... in this scene the two t-rexes stalks Sara and Ian beacuse of that they took their baby in that trailer... what Sara says is this... that if the parents feels we posses a great threat to their baby they will stalk us... and of course they did... in this scene Ian sees the T-rexes sniffing inside the tent where his daugther and Sara sleeps... its the food inside that attracted them to come... they smell it and then this happens...

I mean, how hard can it be to kill one of those when everyone in the camp (which like what, consists over 20-30 people) is armed with assault rifles and weapons?

@CerberusGX I always wondered what that second t-rex is doing in that shot? Did it catch a poor mercenary and start to eat him? It has its head down like it's either drinking water or eating something. At times I almost wish Jurassic park was a little more gory, because you never actually see anyone being eaten in the movies.

@coolbuddydude1 1 they were surprised and the first thing you do waking up to find two colossal meat eating giants tearing through the camp you run. also when their running they can't turn to shoot at it becasue their being hounded by each other along the path, if they turned to shoot it it would grab becasue the t-rex is right behind them.
well. aren't these men trained professionals? at the beginning they were all confident & not afraid. Also don't they sleep with a watch & everybody must have their ready?
The director didn't keep those facts in check or simply didnt care about when he wanted to make a t-rex chase scene. I'll classify this as a movie goof.

The first time I went out camping in a tent in Colorado, I was trying to get to sleep when I heard this deep heavy growling/breathing sound from outside.

Ya know when I was kid, I never wanted to see the T-rex get hurt. I was always rooting for him. But now, it like...makes no sense that everyone started running. I mean, how hard can it be to kill one of those when everyone in the camp (which like what, consists over 20-30 people) is armed with assault rifles and weapons?

@kalphitekil Same here. I do believe i know why: Every time i saw this movie, i watched it on vhs. The picture ratio was 4:3, so the sides of the image was cut off. The only time the second t-rex is visible is at 1:49, in the very right portion of the picture.

@CerberusGX I always wondered what that second t-rex is doing in that shot? Did it catch a poor mercenary and start to eat him? It has its head down like it's either drinking water or eating something. At times I almost wish Jurassic park was a little more gory, because you never actually see anyone being eaten in the movies.

@coolbuddydude1 1 they were surprised and the first thing you do waking up to find two colossal meat eating giants tearing through the camp you run. also when their running they can't turn to shoot at it becasue their being hounded by each other along the path, if they turned to shoot it it would grab becasue the t-rex is right behind them.

The director didn't keep those facts in check or simply didnt care about when he wanted to make a t-rex chase scene. I'll classify this as a movie goof.
