Is it just me of does most modern rock bands all sound the same. That is why i like these guys, they sound different. All new hard rock bands wanta go heavier but they aren't metal instead their guitars sound like a bass and alot of life is takin out of the song.

I disagree, i think there is alot of great new music out there but radio or mtv never play it these days, that is the difference. Wolfmother have their influences and they put a modern twist on older bands and are a little more psychedalic as well. I think they are a blessing to have around right now. They remind me of the white stripes and at the drive in meets zeppelin who are newer bands except for Zep but who cares, Radiohead sound like the Beatles and REM sometimes

this is what Rock and Roll is. Finally a band that went back a couple decades and brought back some badass music for us to listen to. Im sick of the music we have nowadays its so terrible but these guys have brought back what music is. Its not about terrible shit like the lyrics of new age rock sing about like death and loss.
