@SYTube5 he ended up acting like a totally different horse in the show ring. He was still a little strong, but he did great. Your horse is very beautiful by the way :)
@SYTube5 I have done that, and I would do that when I was schooling with my old equitation/hunt seat instructor but now that I'm riding with a dressage/jumping/eventing instructor she taught me not to use tight circles when training. But your right, it definately make sense to do that in a show to keep things out of hand thank you! Sometimes he gets where I can't even pull him in a circle though. But thank you so much again for your advice, and we ended up doing really well at that show!
What would you do if your horse got strong or started to take off with you? I'm about to go to my first show, and my horse has a tendency to get strong and I'm worried he will try this at the show. So I've been asking around for advice.

@Equestrian08 Learn to turrn your horse in a tight circle - pull in hard on one reign and hang on.

I went to that show last year! didnt do very well, but i am going again this year with my new horse so i have higher hopes! lol. i like that show.
