@Josiah2231 well I would start with Fall of Reach then Contact Harvest, Cole Protocol, The Flood, First Strike then Ghosts of Onyx thats the story in the game time period. Then theres the forerunner saga which is about the halos, the flood and the background to the forerunners, first book is Cryptum, second ones Primordium and more are due to be released. BEWARE THE FORERUNNER BECAUSE ARE VERY HARD TO GET YOUR HEAD AROUND

Regarding the first one, why does Guilty spark threaten to destroy the pillar of autumn but not the Covenant fleet? H didn't destroy the Pillar of Autum because they were human but the covenant obviously aren't, why didn't he attack them?

@raCteJ It's not impossible. But seeing as the Forerunner Saga of the Halo Novels isn't nearly finished yet, I can't say for certain whether he's still alive or not. Some one had to fire the Array from the Ark 100,000 years prior to Halo: CE taking place. And we know that they would have been left alive because of it, and In stasis to make him surviving that long a plausible idea. That or a Cryptum, which would only make sense if you've read Halo: Cryptum.

Around 25:18 to the End Spark mentions a "single company of Prometheans here right now." Then Spark mentions a "he" and the Librarian not being around to temper his rage. Since Prometheans most likely refers to the level 12 promethean combat skin and how Spark mentions the Librarian... I think when he says "he", Spark means Didact.

So maybe we'll end up fighting the forerunners after all... that would be a bit weird but I'm even more interested in Halo 4!
