  • Nice transition...

As for antitorque I always like watching the vertigo fly (from the 80s) it has vtol sorted as well, though it was very labour intensive with no gyros... (using control vanes (ala v2) and single tilt prop/fan.

  • Good going Jeff. I agree with flyinBrian777, anyone who gets off the couch and at least try to build something is good..simply because they have tried. Success/failure, doesn't matter. But I do have issues the Skyfly VTOL idiot (do check out his computer generated picture)..and he still doesn't realize all the sarcasm thrown at him!!! No insurance, no instruments, no navigation system?? How can you possible fly???

  • We have solved all of the problems that the POGO aircraft of the 1950's had, namely the ability to land in strong wind

  • Is interesting. Succes! If I'll had money I invest in such plane.

  • Revolutionary aircraft? This is the same idea as the Convair XFY-1 Pogo that flew in 1954.

  • @FlyinBrian777 the revolution is that they made that on his homes. "homebuilt"... of course, the idea is out of date 5 years ago!

  • @pytoche well I'm not here to disrespect people or be an armchair genius. Anyone who gets off the couch and builds and tries to make their ideas a reality is a good thing, I just had a problem with "revulationary" thing, which I see the author here has changed. Keep posting the vids jeffpage.

  • @FlyinBrian777 I am totally agree...

  • Anti-torque is handled by the canards. In the event of engine failure, a ballistic chute recovers the aircraft.

We are looking for investors--please forward to any interested parties.

  • Very cool! Thanks for posting, wow. Is all the anti-torque done with just airfoils? Nice. I knew it was possible, my dad and I tried doing this in the 70's and discovered it was impossible to control with the technology we had at hand.

  • Nice unit.

And if the engine craps out?..

    A big crater?...

  • Very cool video.
