ok, i love this show, dont get me wrong. but back in october the show came to my hometown so of course i was there everyday and what i saw kinda disappointed me-the only time ty was around was when the cameras were there,other than that he was at the hotel or in the bus, i just wish he wouldve been more involved. Again, i love the show and not gonna bad mouth anyone, im just stating what i saw.

no doubt it would be. They wouldnt go that far in to faking. As for the wake up call, a complete set up. Of course they know they're there. Not one episode has one family member ever not been shown. I mean what if one of em is on the can? or if the family is out getting groceries?? Nope always the entire family is there to run out together as if they're completely shocked and surprised.

TV is never the same as the real world. It doesn't work like that. End of the day whether it takes 7 days or not, whether they film some segments early and if he was done for DUI they still give these people who need a new home a new home. And seem to do a damn good job of it. I genuinley doubt the design team spends much time building the house but end of the day the family is left with a house. Isn't that the idea of the program?
