No thanks to Huckabee. I cannot respect or follow the lead of a man who ignores science and denies something as fundamentals the theory of evolution. It'd be like a candidate coming out and saying "The theory of gravity is wrong, it's really angels holding us down with invisible magnets"
If he has that kind of logic working in his mind, I can't trust him to do other things. Oh and he's a bigot against gay marriage.
MY question: why does a man of God such as Huckabee work for an organization (Fox News) that is funded by terrorist Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, and whose biggest draw (Glenn Beck) follows the Mormon cult? A Mormon is no more Christian than a MUSLIM is. I have serious issues with the company Mr. Huckabee is keeping...
@wvfii More curious: Why does Mike Huckabee own any material possession? The Book of Matthew says you should sell them all or give them to the poor in order to follow Christ.
Why do Christians love to quote the Bible on what people should do when it comes to homosexuality or abortion or whatever, yet ignore the same book that tells them to sell all their possessions or to never say no when someone wants to borrow from you?
It's a good thing Christianity is a laughing stock these days. I was actually afraid a lunatic like Huckabee might get elected one day. Luckily that won't happen now.
Originally, the Republicans pushed for abortion. "keep government out of the uterus." It boggles my mind how often history is re-written when religion is involved.
obviously, this guy is a smart man. i mean this comment right here, "just like the republican women of anytown usa." i dont want to be sexist, but there is hardly a single thing false about that comment. just look at how many of them are swooning over that joke sarah palin.
I think when anyone follows any political figure blindly as their hope for the future and not look to themselves to be the hope for the future you might as well be a blind man following a blind man off a cliff.
Remember ALL POLTICIANS, ALL OF THEM, are LIARS, that is the nature of the beast.
Don't think that one person who becomes President, is going to be able to automatically make a difference. BULLSHIT, it doesn't work that way. They can only try and pass stuff and hope others in congress.
..and Senate and the Governors of each and every state agree with them and want to help. If you want to see any major change in this nation, you would have to vote OUT every person currently in office for someone new, ALL OF THEM. From Mayor, Governor, Senator, Congressman, Judge, President, ALL OF THEM!!!!
I like this guys news show and he plays Electric Bass Guitar, but when he starts talking about his "Lord and Saviour" then it is like this guy must be nuts.
Governor Huckabee has the best answers to help the economy AND he is the most honest trustworthy politician to come along. We are going to be sooo ready for Gov. Huckabee after 4 yrs. of this administration. Huckabee 2012!!!
I feel sorry for you as I feel you are almost as sick as the man who murdered those 4 police officiers. If you REALLY believe that Gov. Huckabee could in any way be to blame for that man doing this some 10 years later, YOU my friend are missing some screws.....
I am an atheist socialist, but god damn i love mike. He speaks the most truth out of any of those phony GOPs and represents a more modern and more evolution republican.
It is Mike Huckabee who is the REAL straight talker. I wanted him as president and so hoped McCain chose him for vp. In retrospect, it was good that Huck didn't havde to play 2nd fiddle to McCain. Huck is too strong a leader to be in the shadows. VP would not be the role for him!!! President Huckabee 2012!

Someone save this video for the day when left-of-center Huckabee will endorse the left-of-center Giuliani himself. It will be gone from here, but it will survive elsewhere to be hilariously hypocritical if and when that time comes.
Oh, please. I'm confident that Huck can and will get the nomination. He's the only serious candidate that knows 1) how to articulate in a genuine and forceful manner, and 2) is someone who has solid foundational principles and stands by them.
In the unlikely event that someone else becomes the nominee (Guiliani or whomever), Huck will be a good Republican and endorse them. How in the world would that be hypocritical?
AND, BTW, Huck is NOT left of center. He's the one of the only geniune conservatives in the Tier 1 line up. I think McCain is behind him, and then Thompson. Guiliani, IMO, is DEAD LAST when it comes to integrity-- I would put him in the same category as David Souter. I think Huck is more like Reagan than any of the candidates in the field today.

Google:
Betsy Hagan, Arkansas director of the conservative Eagle Forum and a key backer of his early runs for office, was once "his No. 1 fan." She was bitterly disappointed with his record. "He was pro-life and pro-gun, but otherwise a liberal," she says. "Just like Bill Clinton he will charm you, but don't be surprised if he takes a completely different turn in office."
VOTE MIKE HUCKABEE! HE sure looks like the real deal!,if all they can come up with is tax hike mike ,thats sad!the state is better now than it was!what more do you have? look at (all)the other candidates both parties now thats scarey! LIFE is to short to play games , People should vote based on the person notr the party.

Check out what prolife Robertson had to say about forced abortions in China a few years ago. He did try to "clarify" later, but said it wasn't any of our business. Maybe because God is Caucasian or something; who knows what he was thinking.
Hey all you Huckabee "super conservatives", doesn't it seem suspicious that Huckabee is getting so much coverage by the liberal media. I wonder why? Could it be that the one wedge issue that could save the race for Republicans this election is immigration? It is the one issue that most Americans agree with the GOP on. The media knows that if the GOP nominates someone like Huckabee who is weak on immigration, it will make immigration a non-issue and ensure a Hillary presidency.
Wrong. Guiliani is endorsed by Robertson. Right to Life has endorsed Thompson. Bob Jones has endorsed Romney (another pro-gay, pro-choice guy). What do these three guys have in common? They are all hugely pro-business, particularly Romney and Giuliani. The fact is, the Republican party- even the Robertsons and Dobsons- care about big business and tax cuts above all else. That is why none of them have endorsed Huckabee, because he is actually willing to stand up to the corporations.
Even though I disagree with Huckabee on several issues, I'd vote for him over anyone but Obama or Gore (*crosses fingers*) because he's calm, reasonable, logical, personable, basically, the opposite of Bush.

Are you nuts, he has always been for beating Al Quaeda in Iraq by increasing our military commitment. He also has been for greater pressure on Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. He has been completely consistent.
Also you must be spamming because nothing about this clip has anything to do with the war.

Is 2012 the number of people attending this week's funerals for the four police officers killed by Huckabee's pardoned, 25 time convicted felon?
or is 2012 the number of political gifts of cash, jewelry and travel he readily accepted while drug kingpin, err, governor of Arkansauce?
Or is 2012 the number of black churches he used this commutation at to get a black person to vote Republican?
Perhaps 2012 will be the year he goes and works for his protegees, the Clintons?

Strong endorsement from the Chairman same organization (Arkansas Eagle Forum). Much more reasoned comments than the criticisms that I've read.
