I'm here to tell you that this band did NOT suck live!!! I heard them live in Greensboro, NC, and I was not drugged, high, drunk, or any other means of altered ways of being. They were the BEST BAND EVER!!! Do you hear me? EVER!!! Rock on forever, LedZep!!

Anyway, Bands are supposed to sound diffrent when there live stupid. Not like artist today that sound the same in the studio and live performances.

I was lucky to have had my teens in the 70's so I got the Zeppelin stuff as it was happening. Today I still get the chills as I listen and play their music, there will be only one Zeppelin, any rarities will be greatly appreciated as they were back then. Anyone remember LA forum 77 'Badges holders only' and ' Wood stock' with Page giving us the first airing of 'Achilles' in the making. At Knebworth they were the usual 'just get up and do it band', 4 friends just having fun, yet making history.

Studio Band? They HATED performing in studio's. A beautiful song by the Greatest Band ever! The video is available on a 2 set DVD just titled Zepplin. At the end when they all took a bow, Plant uttered what wuld become true. Thank you all for the last 10 years. This was an outdoor concert in England. Plant wore the Black and white shirt. This version is not a good recording of one of the greatest songs. But thanks for the effort to get Zepplin out there to the youngsters comng up. Best band !!!

@tomakethousands Studio band?!? Dude, they did their best stuff live! Zep were experts at improvisation and would just let the music take them (and us!) where it wanted to go. That's what Zeppelin was all about and truly enjoyed doing: making magic onstage in new, exciting, spontaneous ways every time they played. And they almost never did anything in the studio they couldn't replicate live. This recording? Hey, even when they weren't at their best they were STILL resplendent.

I don't know if this is the best song of all time, but this was the best band of all time, at least so far, and this is their best song of all time. And, an amazing version. It just plain sucks that Bonham died...it sucks because of the loss for his family, but it also sucks for the rest of us, that lost Led Zep right then...at least we still have this...thank you, whipit
