This really made my day. I too used to follow the Johnny Long Blues Special all over Denver in the 70's and 80's. He still sounds great and plays so that slide / harmonica so well. Thanks so much for posting this. Jean
Thanks for posting this Video. In the 70's, when i lived in Denver I would catch Johnny playing in Larimer Square,at the Prairie Schooner. One nite after a set , he and I hit some bars in Denver. He told me it is important to listen to older people. Before the night was over, we exchanged tobacco pouches ( we both smoked a pipe at the time). I still have the pouch. I went home and wrote a blues song called "Waitin' for the Light to Change". So good to hear he is still playing. joe kambic
