    Jorge.

  • @23462252 Happy New Year, Jorge.

  • Ha-ha not only guitar students hate it to get confused with different bars in melodys they know also singers in a choir don´t like that. I know that phenomenon and it´s not easy to sing against it. Nice melody and arrangement!

  • so peaceful and beautiful

  • Sounds good, Mike! But Foster didn't really make it to the 1900's - he died in 1864. Your'e right - he wrote some great tunes. I think he might be the first person to try to earn a living as a professional song writer. "try" is a key word in that sentence. I read that he died with 37¢ in his pocket.

    Larry

  • @Deslow5 Thanks Larry. I think I meant to say 19th century and merged that with 1800's some how. I guess we know why there weren't more of his kind back then.

  • Świetne, przez przypadek nawet się wzruszyłam..chociaż to może dlatego, że znowu zaczynam wpadać w depresję.

  • vakkert!

  • Nice choice and nice job. :)

  • That seems like a fun little song to warm up the fingers.. lol. Thanks!

  • you cool man))!

  • I love the intro really a lot. I agree about Foster...would you go for adding Paul Simon to the list for the 1900s? Thanks for a great start to this new year...don't believe everything you hear about it...we will make sure it is a great one!

  • @literauntie I added a couple diminished chords to the intro trying to make the whole tune last over two minutes, but I failed. As usual, I got excited and played it too fast. I don't currently have any Paul Simon tunes on my list of things to do, but I'm sure his music is a rich source of ideas. I'll investigate.

  • @oldwhtman Too fast? Not at all, precious pace and strumming as always!

  • @Lexilea68 Nothing like a peasant comment to start off the new year. Happy New Year to you.

  • @literauntie I am shocked that you didn't tell me I put Stephen Foster in the wrong century. I guess I need someone to proof read my video information text.

  • Really pleasant to hear ! Thank you very much !
