You forgot the fact that it will never get game of the year. Bethesda are definitely the giants of gaming. Oblivion, Fallout 3, Skyrim and Morrowind all got GOTY. Their FPS game, Rage, won 20 awards at E3.

COD franchise is just like the Yankees, you might love it, you might hate it, you might just don't care about it, but the reality is that they both are the best franchise in history, so MW3 wins big time leave it or take it
My opinion? In 5 years or less Treyarch will have complete control over the Call of Duty franchise. Look at Black Ops, when it came out, it felt like a breath of new life for Call of Duty. They took the series to an era that Infinity Ward completely skipped. (Not to mention they fixed the "no-scoping/quick-scoping" and "noob-tubing" problem(s)). Black Ops WAS NOT perfect, but it was proof that sometimes companies do pay attention and TRY TO FIX the massive fuck-ups and improve off them.
@TheNightmareReaper I like it better than Modern Warfare, and yes go Bethesda. Just be sure to watch out for the arrows to the knee and the curved sword people.

Battlefield 3 is pretty amazing but too bad I don't have or play it, I'm stepping away from FPS games as it is and going back to my roots with Sports and Adventure games like Super Mario, GTA, Fifa, NBA etc..

I no longer own MW3, I got my money back, although it was a long process it was worth it, I'll be getting Saints Row: The Third instead :D <3 it looks marvellously fun.
MW£/3 failed to break Black Ops sales record here in the UK, which is why it was a good thing I bought my copy at a supermarket because due to the mass amounts of returns and exchanges MW3 is dropping in value at game stores
People buy CoD just because CoD4 was fun and all the following games has the same name. They haven't even upgraded the graphics one bit. I saw someone say it's like a mw2 map pack for 60$, and it is, I must say, actually like that. Plus they brought back all the shitty stuff from modern warfare 2 that nobody liked. Deathstreaks for example.
I agree on all points but they are different types of games. Ones an arcade game and one is a realistic shooter. I already own BF3 and will be getting Skyrim but Mw3 doesn't look bad either.

@GreySandProductions i must say good video i have owned all of the call of duty games and i greatly enjoyed them. cod is more of an arcade shooter it is simple. any one can pick it up and play it were is battlefield is more strategy based and requires team work to complete objectives. i reasently bought bf3 and i love it. its one of the best fps that i have ever played. although i beleive battle field has better quality content, mw3 will be a lot more popular and more people will end buying it

if they make black ops 2, THAT will be the end of COD. @kbmvp08 Only problem is, most of the people who realized how repetitive CoD was, realized it AFTER Black Ops was released. It's not dead, but it sure as hell is dying. If you look anywhere and ask someone whether MW2 or Black Ops is better, more people will say MW2 is better, simply because Black Ops became bland with balance, over-familiarity, and terrible map design. And don't count on Infinity Ward's more successful maps being in MW3, because many of its designers were fired. Dying =/= Dead

There are still people who like skill, and stay in Black Ops, but a lot of people returned to MW2, because the imbalances made it more enjoyable to them.

Second: Black Ops was balanced, and that made it one of the worst games of the franchise.
Third: Like most ignorant people who commented about it, I never compared Mw3 to Bf3. I only used Bf3 footage to showcase competition, and it's a known fact BF is the greatest competitor to CoD this year. There is no comparison of gameplay.

I don't think I compared any gameplay aspects at all. Also, in my opinion, the "strict budget" is actually a con that falls under Activision's greed. Fortunately for them, it's a low investment that brings in a ton of money.

My opinion? In 5 years or less Treyarch will have complete control over the Call of Duty franchise. Look at Black Ops, when it came out, it felt like a breath of new life for Call of Duty. They took the series to an era that Infinity Ward completely skipped. (Not to mention they fixed the "no-scoping/quick-scoping" and "noob-tubing" problem(s)). Black Ops WAS NOT perfect, but it was proof that sometimes companies do pay attention and TRY TO FIX the massive fuck-ups and improve off them.

Battlefield 3 is pretty amazing but too bad I don't have or play it, I'm stepping away from FPS games as it is and going back to my roots with Sports and Adventure games like Super Mario, GTA, Fifa, NBA etc..

I no longer own MW3, I got my money back, although it was a long process it was worth it, I'll be getting Saints Row: The Third instead :D <3 it looks marvellously fun.
MW£/3 failed to break Black Ops sales record here in the UK, which is why it was a good thing I bought my copy at a supermarket because due to the mass amounts of returns and exchanges MW3 is dropping in value at game stores

People buy CoD just because CoD4 was fun and all the following games has the same name. They haven't even upgraded the graphics one bit. I saw someone say it's like a mw2 map pack for 60$, and it is, I must say, actually like that. Plus they brought back all the shitty stuff from modern warfare 2 that nobody liked. @GreySandProductions i must say good video i have owned all of the call of duty games and i greatly enjoyed them. cod is more of an arcade shooter it is simple. any one can pick it up and play it were is battlefield is more strategy based and requires team work to complete objectives. i reasently bought bf3 and i love it. its one of the best fps that i have ever played. although i beleive battle field has better quality content, mw3 will be a lot more popular and more people will end buying it

In the end its all about opinion. Personally I love BF3. But I still like the call of duty series. I have a feeling I well enjoy modern warfare 3. The only thing I dislike about both games are the fanboys who constantly say which is better. It should be about opinion. #1 i dissagree with. because that's what makes SND fun. #4 is fine and its not that big of a deal , that still takes skill. #5 alot of people still dont have battlefield 3, except for me. but battlefield 3 brought something completely new but got a bad review from some of hte good bfbc2 players. and teh new halo doesnt have any competitition at all and skyrim doesnt either. think multiplayer and not single player on that one.....

The main reason MW3 will fail. Quickscoping It will gain you the support of 8 yr. olds but cause the people that have hit puberty already and want a realistic game to go to BF3. @kbmvp08 Only problem is, most of the people who realized how repetitive CoD was, realized it AFTER Black Ops was released. It's not dead, but it sure as hell is dying. If you look anywhere and ask someone whether MW2 or Black Ops is better, more people will say MW2 is better, simply because Black Ops became bland with balance, over-familiarity, and terrible map design. And don't count on Infinity Ward's more successful maps being in MW3, because many of its designers were fired. Dying =/= Dead

My opinion has nothing to do with it. Face it: an insanely high percentage of CoD fans are there to just to lean on the crutches of imbalance. There are still people who like skill, and stay in Black Ops, but a lot of people returned to MW2, because the imbalances made it more enjoyable to them.
