what video camera did you use for recording the trek and what batteries ( and how many) did you keep- how frequently did you recharge them? I like your video!
Panasonic NV-GS230 which is quite and old model it records to mini DV tapes,
it has a viewfinder and can takes over sized batteries - very important!!
I have 3 batteries the original is a 640mAh one and two 2500mAh clones I bought cheaply on the net. - this was enough for the 4 week trip no recharging required.
The best way to a long battery life is to be very selective about your shots - don't shoot everything - I shot only 2 hours over the 4 week trip
great video; very informative. please also upload separate videos of the entire trek; preferably the amphu-labtsa-la section (rope fixing and descent); a separate one for the east coll :-) ; a detailed map with each video would do better.
