The tempo of this song is not exactly bad, but the accuracy of the notes can be improved. Dizi and erhu are not very good at playing certain notes accurately.

I agreed with rulkubara, that the tempo is horrible and that this music is suppose to sound like you are reminiscing about the past so why its the music getting faster and faster? They totally do not get the meaning of the song do they?

Opening tempo wasn't stable, kept going faster, then slow again, and it sounded a little dreadful at the opening too, out of tune perhaps, entering the fast tempo was too loud! Not powerful enough at certain places too like 4:23, the drum solo and the marching theme at 5:06. The ending was okay but erhu still a little dreadful, the last note sheng made it sounded shocking.
