The minimum the cop should id them selves. As to name badge number and command, hand out a business card. The reason for the contact given to the person that is having his constitutional right abused. Especial if they pat a person down. The officer should also file a report as why with the department. The state should also change the laws that would allow every buddy to record both voice and picture of police doing their work.
