My speed was actually 125.38 the 79 was a error on the board and my how time goes by, that was sept. 24 1999. I actually let off on that one at the very end not sure how I rememberd that !

A brand new Conquest TSi was..the most AWESOME experience the first time you sat in it. Had an 88 but was not a racer (auto) This one is just sickening fast.. Even my automatic -- once you were on the interstate -- could ROAR and eat up some pretty fast cars. Great video!

@ChristopherSaindon Automatic Conquests were actually supposedly faster, because the turbo would stay spooled as the transmission would shift!

This IS a 1/4 mile video and it does run 10s. Get a stopwatch and time it yourself if you want. The car ran 10.61 in the 1/4. The display had not updated yet and was still showing the mph from the 1/8th mile mark. Last report I got, best time was 10.4 @ 128mph....

u can see that car is definitely faster than 10 in the 1/8th tho lol and i doubt it did only 79 mph thats suuuuuper slow

No way this is 1/4 mile time. A 10 second car would be going over 130 mph. This is more like a 14 second car.

I dont get it. A 10.6 second time with a trap speed of 79???? This must be a 1/8 mile track, not a 1/4 mile track

@manlavi90 swap the pos 4g54 and put a 4g63 (possibly a 2.3L stroker) and you'll have the motor capable of this. The tough part is planting it to the pavement.

@manlavi90 okay and compare this to the Bushur Racing Starion (Yellow one) that runs eights in the quarter mile. All I am saying is that the 4g63 Sirius motor is a much better platform to start with than the Astron 4g54b that came with the starquests. Hypothetically speaking, how many 4g54's have you seen pushing 500 plus hp? Now compare this to the how many 4g63's (found in evos and eclipses) you see pushing over 500hp?

@SiRHumpAlot924 You find more 4g63's pushing 500 because you seem them around more. You barely see the G54B anymore, but when you find a built one, they're running in the 500's I'm sure.

This car is still driving around talked to the owner just this week. He was out driving this car. I believe the car now runs a 10:40.

wow, very nice. I used to have white 87 sti and I put a stage 2 turbo w/manifold and it went great.
