I watched two of your videos today and I love the idea of using the Vaseline around the cuticles and I like the idea about the slanted brush. Do you have a tip on how to keep nail polish on without chipping off.

Mary, lately I've been having a lot of breakage so I've been trimming my nails more than usual. Idk why it's happening and I'm worry. I decided not to paint my nails until they grow cuz even if I paint them short they're growing but breaking... Like the top layer of my nails is coming off. Any tips girly!?

I agree with you on those metal pusher thingies...they are scary. I'm kinda heavy handed and have hurt myself every time I've tried them. Even with that wide flat cuticle pusher. On me it slid under the cuticle and created ridges/dents/holes in the top layers of the nail. I had to toss mine, and only use the orange stick. Damaged nails ain't pretty...
I've been cutting my cuticles since I was 12 and I agree with you. I find the manicure looks more polished that way. The only thing that bothers me a little bit is that the cuticle area tends to be a bit red and irritated afterwards so I give it a few hours or even a day to "calm down" and then carry on with my manicure. Do you have a full video on how you do your manicure (old polish removing, cuticles, base coat, nail polish, top coat, cleaning the mess)? if no, please do one :)

My "cuticles" look as if I've pushed them back , but I've never done that. I've never used cuticle treatment or removals, I just wear nail polish like a regular person. The only other person I know that doesn't have cuticles is my mom. Sometimes I even WANT cuticles. I guess I should consider myself lucky :)
