Great acrobatic/martial arts stunts...especially when considering that this was back in the 1960's, before Hong Kong movies became popular in the West. I believe these same actors were also involved in the "Kommissar X" series.
I took a birthday party group of friends, when I was a kid, to see this movie....expecting to see "superman 3"...after my initial disappointment....I got into it and enjoyed it. Glad to see it here...would love to find a way to get it. I also saw some other "older" films at the same Odeon cinema in Saint John, NB Canada including Don Knotts in the The Reluctant Astronaut. Good Fun
I saw the English language version of this movie in 1976 at the old Texas Theater in San Antonio. I remember there were several funny moments and some hot Italian starlets in the film. I was about eleven years old at the time. Excellent movie. It brings back fond memories of my misspent youth. Thank You for sharing.
I saw it in the 70s and just saw it again. It was first rate camp. But the ruthlessness of the electrocution of the two women was unpleasant.(One of them was a real woman).
Right around the original release of SUPERMAN: THE MOVIE (late 1978/early 1979), this flick hit the re-release circuit. I saw this in an art-house dollar theater in Western Massachusetts. Did this get a wide re-release across the USA? I seem to recall TV spots for THE THREE FANTASTIC SUPERMEN, too! Totally blew my mind to learn that a) it was an Italian flick and b) was originally made in 1967! Good stuff. I remember it well.
Strange as it seems, I saw it at the local corporate-owned 2-screen theater in Greensboro, NC. I was probably about 9 years old at the time, and the movie made a fairly big impression on me.
