I have had my XBox 360 for a week now, to keep mine from getting the RROD I:

-Keep it in a room that has central air 24/7

-Keep it horizontal

-Keep it a bit elevated off the floor (with the help of a book) so air flow will have space

-Keep it in an open space

-Only use it for around a hour at a time and give it a break

ye oi guys it might sound like a good idaer but i got one and the plug melted to the back of the xbox aand it got stuck and it was only on for a hour

hey will a regular fan blowing near the back prevent it from 3 rings?

it will definitely help, but not near as much as the innercooler.

oh and if you lift it from the ground with 2 long blocks that also helps

i have had my 360 since they came out and i do that and it works like a charm!

coool my 360 died in september and ive decided now that ive learnt more about it, to by another plus i dotn need the hardrive i already have it so ill get teh cheapest modelf of 360 anyways yeah im lookin into these collers at the moment but some especialy this one have had bad reviews on amazon, the pegs in the sockets melt and shit but ill probs buy a couple of coolers, to make sure, also another way fo reventing ring of death it to read the 360 manual it recomend best places th 360 should be
