  • hey, jani

    sorry

  • SUCH A GOOD

  • Best Warrant album!!!

  • I like this song... But the pics make you Realize how bad our world really is

  • very underated album.. was moved to come and listen this music again..they could have even sell it to a future -disaster kind movie.. and will have been a hit.

  • Man, I give you major props for putting this one together. It's hard to match images with these deep lyrics. Good Job, this song kicks ass!

  • Love this album, their best imo.

  • Best song on the Dog Eat Dog album.

  • Dog Eat Dog was an awesome album, too bad the nirvanas and pearl jams took over and nobody really heard it. love it!!

  • since jani lane left i feel like i have nothing left in my life but only his music :((

  • this song is amazing and it's lyrics has suck a deep meaning !!! just love it !!!

  • Songs like this helped shape our lives. I grew up to warrant and bands like them. The lyrics were strong and embedded in our minds...not like this shit on the radio today. Maybe why we have better values than kids of today. R.I.P. Jani we will still hear you for a long time to come. Thank you

  • This is still my favorite Warrant album, about 9 gems. Unbelievable. R.I.P. Jani...

  • ni a la bitney fock spears o cualquier come mierda de ahora se le hubiera ocurrido un tema como este, los buenos rockeros se van y no van a volver nunca .

  • Dog Eat Dog is and always will be my favorite album! Thanks for the Great Music Jani, God Bless You!

  • Yes, this was a very underrated album. I've bought it in a pawn shop twice, because people I turn it onto just end up taking it from me.

  • This is one of my favourite Warrant tracks, still makes me emotional.

Has anyone noticed that one of the guitar riffs is slower but similar to the riff in Wasted by Def Leppard. Not the same, but similar. Maybe its just my ears haha. I noticed it the first time I heard this song back all those years ago.

Thanks for all the music and entertainment Jani. Oh and thanks for stage diving onto me back in 1991 in Adelaide. Got covered in Jani Lane sweat and knocked to the floor. lol

  • bye bye great jani

  • what an amazing songwriter!!! he was truely gifted!!! also had an amazing voice! so sad that my kids know nothing but this superficial pop crap. think it's about time to break out my 80's/early 90's rock and show them what REAL music is!!!

  • @rileyalexrose10 ? U NEED TO SAY IT????

  • Love u Jani. May I see u in heaven. sorry your addictions took over your life, you were so above that.

  • R.I.P Jani. grew up in metal years. you were one of my favorite. sorry u did not find peace here but now you have.

  • Dog Eat Dog is one sadly so underrrated album it just hurts

  • Personally, I don't think it was underrated at all. Every hardcore Warrant fan I know will tell you this is their favorite album. It just came out at the wrong time!!!! Got to see Warrant live twice after this album was released and the only song I got to hear live was Hole In My Wall. As far as I'm concerned, they could have done a tour just playin' this album from start to finish!!! @jmoralesgarcia

  • That's my very best Warrant song ever.

  • That's my very best Warrant song vere

  • thanx man, finally there is one who understood what was jani lane sensitivity...so much more than just cherry pie or heaven....

  • You will be missed Jani......R.I.P.

  • I loved Dog Eat Dog. RIP Jani

  • great song from a great album

  • This song reminds me of Queensryche...

    RIP Jani Lane

  • Saw them 5 times! Great every time!

  • RIP Jani..................

  • I agree best album....

  • I will always remember seeing them on their first tour with Danger Danger.

One of the best bands from this Era

    RIP Jani =(

  • awesome voice rip i will always remember meeting you

  • Dog eat Dog ruled...R.I.P Jani....Thanks for all the cool memories!

  • Nice job...Thanks for printing the killer lyrics! :)

  • What, Jani's dead?

  • @hukkunut He died today. :(

  • @insanityspeaks74

    Son of a bitch...

  • Warrant was a gr8 band bck in the late 80,s n early 90,s,dog eat dog in my opinion was their best,I,ve just heard about his death when I was scrolling down my facebook page,my facebook page said that Jani Lane,s death was an untimely 1,my condolescences go 2 all of his family n friends n all who knew him,R.I.P.,Jani Lane

  • RIP jani

  • R.I.P JANI LANE. such a waste. dog eat dog was a classic in my opinion.

  • RIP Jani, Best Song ever written by th FL boys.

  • r.i.p jani this sucks

  • RIP Jani! :-(

  • uncle tom's cabin really kicked my ass but dog eat dog is gay

  • Dog Eat Dog was the greatest Warrant album by far, it's a shame so many people missed it. This song, Andy Warhol Was Right, Bitter Pill, Sad Theresa, all better than 90% of anything on their first two albums combined. April 2031 lyrically really spoke to issues we have going on today...and this was way before Al gore starting talking about Global Warming.

  • @insanityspeaks74 You are so right!! Love these albums!

  • Dog eat dog is a freaking heavy album, and that's because of jani lane. Now warrant has a new singer, the band continues playing Janis songs . Pretty much sucks

  • Warrant was and is a great band and they need more recgnotion.I love this band they were the first band i started listening to.My son has been listening 2 them since he was 2 and he loves listening to them too.

  • god Jani Lane is one of the most under rated songwriters of all time. if warrant came out in the early 80s, no doubt they would be remembered as one of the best bands of the 80s.

  • What kind of world are we actually living in?

  • Warrant were fantastic, and I love how Jani Lane took the band in a new direction, to show what an in depth band they were

  • Fantastic song I hope their lyrics don't come true, however if we continue to abuse our planet and piss around by interfeering in other countries problem's etc i'm afraid they will.

  • This was the tune that made me realize i was a metal head....so ahead of it's time....no mor eneed for praying, no more god to blame it on

  • such a brilliant and underrated album

  • Dog eat Dog was the only Warrant album I liked... the rest was just cock rock pandering to a female audience.

  • What a great song.

  • Back in my teenage years, I used to fall asleep listening to this. This song reminds me of the fate mankind is doomed to see. It's a shame that we cannot understand how important it is for the survival of our planet. Just because some of us won't live to see it, doesn't mean it won't happen. And what is the point in our lives if we cannot save our people of the future?

  • Amazing stuff going on here in this song.

  • You say Lady Gaga, I say Led Zeppelin

You say Hannah Montana, I say Beatles

You say Owl city, I say Deep Purple

You say Jonas Brothers, I say The Rolling Stones

You say Justin Bieber, i say Queen

You say Taylor Swift, i say Guns & Roses.

95% of teens these days listen to the same crappy pop songs over and over. if your one of the 5% left who still listen to real music, thunb this up, then copy and paste it to t least 5 video's. DONT LET THE SPIRIT OF ROCK AND ROLL DIE!

  • the best

  • One of my favorite songs from the best Warrant album ever made. Very strong lyrics.

  • bands these dAYS wish they were this good their pure crap

  • best album by warrant by far

  • Socalists, communists, democratic, republic...we are all the same...I cut you you bleed red...you cut me I bleed red...at the basic level we are all the same...why are we fighting each other so hard when we are all the same thing....my religion is better than yours...bullshit...I think better than you do...bullshit....men women is the only distinction between us and the women are the smarter race... they hold our future

  • 1992 was the finest hour in terms of "CONTENT" and "CREATIVITY" for WARRANT. DOG EAT DOG is an immensly overlooked chapter of hard-rock music of the early 90's. It's kind of depressing. I know, I know that this song is glum, but it's even worse knowing that this effort wasn't even acknowledged on a commercial level due to the rise of GRUNGE.....sux

  • @SabreMatt311 wasting you breathe bubba, we all know how good the old days were, and how good the musicins were and how pathetic they are today, hope and pray that the fucking idiot american producers and record poducers realise ..... power metal 2000+ is so good and god bless europe and scando for keeping metal alive because america fucked it!

  • But then again your probably a smoker who tosses your Cigarette butts out the car window and thinks nothing of it. Hypocrites and Socialists who think they know whats best for all. NOBAMA smokes and pollutes with his Butts - and he contributes to the carbon footprint more than any other Citizen - HYPOCRIT. Fly more planes to your vacation spot... Drive a Hummer, Start a Camp Fire, Enjoy a brew, make money and prosper - er wait - Socialists say that evil. Dickheads...

  • @sgwink I agree the Socialists are hypocrites, it's ok for Michael Moore to be rich and have money in Haliburton but according to Moore, Cheney is evil for having ever been died to Haliburton, oh yeah Michael Moore also has money in that Carlyle group that Bin Laden has money in and yes the Bush family did have money in Carlyle too but guess what the Bush family took their cash out of Carlyle cause of Bin Laden, why didn't Moore do the same?

  • Wow the doom sayers seem to be buying into the fever pitch of the lefts Agenda. We havent screwed up the planet you fing morons. You watch too much of Al Gore and his panzi's and not enough about science.

One Volcano eruption - just one can spew more polution - deadly to the planets precious atmosphere - than 200 years of man made polution to the atmosphere - but you never hear about that do you? Jesus age Christ people - wake up and get real. Live life without fear of it ending soon.

  • Interesting how we all know we've screwed up this planet....soon...there'll be nothing left for our children....

  • great song warrant really grew up on dog eat dog

  • cool track warrant really grew up on dog eat dog

  • Their best album, finest hour. Typifies the widespread feeling of hopelessness many of us had in that era, that some of us still have.

  • Dog Eat Dog was Warrent's attempt at grunge and it acctually sounded pretty damn good! Two thumbs up!

  • @skategoofy84 lmao i just heared this one of a friend who was doing in his english class =p does anyone have a backing vocals track for this? i really want it with out the vocals cause it sounds awesome

  • @Transamstance Don't start no he doesn't the video shows Oil spills!!! the song is about us wrecking the world in general! Why does everyone see some random 'fact' linking everything these days?? It's a song for the future to STOP us messing our lives up!!

  • this is depressing, but i love it<3

  • i haven't heard this in about 15 yrs! thanks for posting this!

  • their bestest album right here. souns like hes talkin bout the future. april 2031 oh ya duh. i jus never new the lyrics to it. lol

  • Uma ótima música que faz parte de um ótimo disco.Realmente um grande trabalho do Warrant.

  • I never listened this song before, from which record is this?? looks like ultraphobic era

  • @dogfever Dog eat dog. Their best album ;-)

  • @biggustittus thanks bud, cuz form that album i listened some songs like machine gun and stuff like that

  • i bet if they split the trax between cherry pie and dog eat dog both albums would have done better than they did. And i am not knocking any of those albums they were both great.

  • joey allen is an awesome guitarist

  • this song fucking rocks

  • Great vid u did! ..dog eat dog was so under rated! Ultraphobic was great album too!

  • the least pop album was there best according to me dog eat fuckin dog

  • i fuckin' love all the glam metal fans and their comments on this page! :D

    fuck grunge and nirvana.

this is real music, not that gay slit your wrist shit they did hahaha

  • I likes it !!!

  • ver y powerfu video!

  • i believe the year 2031 to be ultra-significant... why?

watch the video on my channel entitled 'Passage Through the Veil of Time'

    cheers,

    jason

  • it's sad to see that great songs on this album have been thrown away becuase of grunge.

  • some of these bands that were huge in the day in my opinion had the best albums ever, period. Funny thing was they were always considered by the mainstream to not be their best albums. Skid Row subhuman race, warrant dog eat dog, Slaughter, lynch mob, possibly the four best albums of late 80s early 90s and a lot of people don't even know about them

  • i dont agree with Subhuman R. but ur rigth... and theres is Poison Native Tongue and Saigon Kick Water too... did u listen to these?

  • i thought native tongue was pretty good.skid rows album was heavy but not very memorable to me.this warrant record i always felt the best of the 3 mentioned

  • Dog Eat Dog Album is the best in my opinion.. I can listen over and over again and hardly get tired..ending of one song is beginning intro of next one...

    \m/

  • @AKTXIII Loved them from 'Sometimes She Cries' was on Headbangers Ball-got next albums then it seemed like they disappeared over here! Heard this song and LOVED it but at time all shops thought I was talking about a rap band called 'Dog Eat Dog' OR making it up! took me years to get a copy but I wanted it desperately. Finally got a copy last year and I so NOT disappointed!!

  • i absolutely love WARRANT!! that's all my page is, is WARRANT!!!

  • yeah they're the shit right. easily one of my most favorite bands

  • i bet you smell like sex

  • that is just fucking sick........

  • relax.. im the biggest warrant fan in the world

  • @hoth1138 so am i!! :D

  • so am i!! :D

  • the biggest?!?!? pssht yeah right.....

  • i am. Great band.

  • i bet your not....... and there not great...... there the BEST BAND IN THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! no there better than the best...... whats better than best??? well there THAT!!!!!!!!!

  • i totally agree...:)...hey Insysticus this video is really well done..the pictures go great with the lyrics

  • ALL I got to say grunge will always sux cuz its full of misfits and punks who are the opPISSIT of this song, go fuck up some1 else is plant

  • haha, I aint whining, its just an itch my ass, thats all. but your right, I often whine, I can admit that :D

  • Fuck grunge, fuck the 90's, without them this album would have been known to very rocker alive.

  • The first part of your post is quite true yet I don't think people would ever want to get over a great band like Warrant. After 17 years, I still love the album Dog Eat Dog.

  • Dog eat Dog is a master piece.

  • @victorthegroover I say that every dam day of my life!

  • Yeah cause look what happened because of grunge. Creed, Nickelback and Puddle of Mud? Are you kidding me? Where's the musicality in those guys? Anyone can put 4 power chords together and be an arena band. It's bullshit. The music industry is fucked, and has been since the late 90s, from all the retarded rap rock and post grunge pussies.

  • @aceyshred very well said. very well said.

  • Dog eat Dog was such a great album! The bitter pill is my favorite song on the besides. Hole in my wall. Just a solid album.

  • Comment removed

  • I havent heard this song in 16 years and i literally had tears in my eyes just now!

  • cba reading all of that vvv ... so awesome song. :D

  • I felt Warrant really matured musically with the Dog Eat Dog album. This track,"Bitter Pill" and other songs have great harmony and rock out. It was too bad grunge took over the mainstream as most of the major labels turned their heads and checkbooks on the rock/metal genre. I still listen to this CD and enjoy it.

  • warrant is no way a one hit wonder band..there songs will keep on rockin' this world long after April 2031.hahahaha.. warrant forever........i agree w/u (ShaykeIt69) D E D is the best warrant album..

  • this song is carved into the history!

great work with the video, pictures fit perfectly.

great video, for a great song made by the greatest band.

  • This was always one of Warrant's deeper songs. You did an amazing job with the video. It is along the lines that I envisioned how they would have done the video had they made one. Kudos!

  • Dog Eat Dog is better than Cherry Pie, why the fuck isnt it more popular.

  • 100% true

  • 100++ % true.... this album was ultimate....

  • blame it on the ever changing musical tastes! remember nirvana, pearl jam...etc...u know, in early 90´s radio and MTV didn't give that much airplay to them 80's band...such a pity...

  • cuz dog eat dog came out when everyone jumped on the grunge band wagon ! and i totally agree, it is better then cherry pie !!! peace !

  • I consider Dog Eat Dog to be Warrants best album EVER! Unfortunately, by the time they released it, they were already pigeonholed into bubblegum melodic rock so this turn to a harder edge wasn't accepted immediately and then was killed by grunge. Sad sad times.......

  • Dude, how is melodic rock "bubblegum"?? I personally loved the first 2 albums... but i like Dog eat Dog even more...

  • No, no.... not all melodic rock is bubblegum.... just the more pop style stuff..... Dog Eat Dog has a harder edge to it and would be considered Hard Rock, whereas Cherry Pie was a lighter, poppier album..... don't get me wrong, I love em both, but definitely prefer D E D for repeated listens......

  • It doesnt really bother me that this isnt as popular as cherry pie, the anoying part is how this album isnt remembered and warrant are considered a one hit band. This is the best album off all time should be remembered for that

  • Yes, listen to this guy, Warrant has never been a one hit band, at least not by choice, thay are great and skilled musicians, always been, still are, and this album is the the biggest jewel on their crown

  • I mean the entire cherry pie album was brilliant, most of the songs were just what arrant stood for. It was the most glam album. So in that sense it did prevail, just the reception and aftermath was wrong.

  • true it is a solid album...the songwriting is there, amazing production values even by today's standards (due in part to morrissound studios) but what it comes down to in my humble opinion is that they simply followed a formula you might even say they perfected the formula. but that's just the thing at the end of the day it's not cutting edge. if warrant dropped out of the game prematurely their would have been 100 eager sound alikes ready to take their place.

  • best song ever, and very best song from the album of warrant...fullstop!...long live the boys.......

  • Well it is a great song but hard to say wether it was their best, I mean the dog eat dog is by far my favorite album but my favorite song would have to be all my bridges are buring or uncle toms cabin. But I can see whay you think this song is great.

  • COOL VID!! great job. Best Warrant album. Love this song. Thanks

  • one of warrants best song!

  • wonder why they picked this date?

  • they knew something! :p

  • Whats sad is that i have played this song in bands that I have been in and no-one knew it that thought we wrote it and loved and they didnt beleive that it was warrant

  • very good

  • one of my fav warrant songs.

  • funny how this album was the least popular and sold the worst of their previous albums but it was by far the best one they released. I know it was released at bad time for so-called "hair" bands since grunge was sweeping the nation, but still a good album.

  • Very good, Name of the band is Warrant?

  • Yep, on their Dog Eat Dog album. It is probably their best. Cherry Pie, the previous CD to Dog Eat Dog, had songs like "Cherry Pie" and "Unlce Tom's Cabin" and is a good album, but Dog Eat Dog is solid from top to bottom.

  • it really makes you think how much waste can we produce until this happens

  • outstanding video totally trust

  • Killer.

  • I was lost in the song , I love, for a moment in the video.

  • very good job! now do one for ANDY WARHOL WAS RIGHT

  • awesome
