It would be nice to do an animated version of this missing, episode and release it on dvd sometime in the future like with what was done with the Invasion.
This is the first time I've seen the regeneration sequence. You can buy the audi book for the Tenth Planet. There is a VHS version, the last episode is made up of still shots.
Rumour (well Wikia) says two stories are being worked on the way that The Invasion was and speculate that they're most likely to be The Tenth Planet and The Ice Warriors.
They woulld if the stupid BBC hadn't destroyed the original films. Only the fans can help it now if they recorded the soundtrack from the tv when it was originally broadcast or if they have any more of the surviving footage.
here is the reason why By the 1970's the show had moved to colour and the old 60's black and white episodes were becoming less popular to show as more and more foreign TV stations opted to show the newer colour stories instead. The copies distributed abroad were supposed to be either destroyed or returned to the BBC after use
@dAvEo5733 The Tenth Planet is going to be released on DVD some time between 2012 and 2013, using a method of some kind to restore the missing episodes.

There's more surviving clips than what's in your video.

Only episode 4 is missing and an offair soundtrack of episode 4 does exist, as I'm sure it has been used with telesnaps in VHS releases before.
They should give episode 4 the Invasion 1 and 6 treatment and animate it with original soundtrack, not perfect but better than telesnaps.
