Rwy 26L at SUS, you go into Million Air or which FBO? I used to go there alot. The -135's are great, but it's a very capable airplane with the stock 112's. Depends how deep the owners pocket book is! If you wanna go faster and stay in a turboprop with the same operational cost look at a 441. 310TAS on 500lbs/hr
great! hey thanks for the reply, it's hard to find 425 pilots around willing to talk about it (assuming due to the few produced). Are the 135's worth the extra investment?
hey, great vid. We are in the process of purchasing our 425 in Canada. It just had it's SID's done ad we're gona have G600 with GTN 750 and 650 units installed. Just curious on what your experience has been with that aircraft?
@luftpilot1 I've got about 1,200 hours in the 425 and can't say much bad about the ship at all. If it has already made it though the SIDS inspections it should be good to go for awhile. Ours had the 1000 series AP which sucks, sounds like you will have a nicely upgraded avionics suite. The blackhawk -135 conversion isn't a bad option and if you have a fast airframe to start with they will true at 285+ kts. I've flown 3 serial numbers and true airspeeds ranged from 250-268 ktas with the -112's.
