I can certainly relate to you, as I was bullied throughout most of my schooling, elementary through high school. Thankfully, I had a lot of outlets for my emotional baggage. I would have a bad day, I would go home and play guitar or fire up doom or wolfenstein and lay waste to anything that moved, and breathe and move on. Hopefully, these blogs are therapeutic for you and can provide closure for your long suppressed trauma. Let it out and get it out of your system. It's a breath of fresh air.
I feel you Rob. Bullying is something I went through in elementary and middle school. I hated it alot, and i wanted to stay home, but my friends helped me.
I agree with you rob bullying takes a tole on people. I was personally bullied for 2 years in grade school and 2 more years in middle school. I was lucky to have a family that moved a lot so I don't still live in the area that the bullies I used to know live in. I have had something similar to you when meeting the kid that used to bully me. I don't shut down but I do everything I can to get away from them. Sadly after being bullied for so many years I became A bully myself.
I have since stopped bullying people and feel regret for what I did. Now almost 2 years after being bullied in the 7th grade, I stand up for all my friends that are being bullied and I am extremely loyal like my friends who helped me get through being bullied. I have to say if it wasn't for my friend justin who helped me find a way to change everything people said to me into a joke I don't think i would be the same. I believe that schools should pay more attention to bullying also.
I never hurt anyone physically, but in grade school I verbally bullied, and made fun of someone in my class on a regular basis. I deeply regret it now, having being bullied myself later on in life, I realized the impact of what I had done back then. I still have pretty high social anxiety that came from all the negative things my "friends" did to me when I was in highschool.
I am currently in somewhat of this stage. Some good news is the biggest bully in the school moved, but the bad news was my mom was so close to sueing (Sorry about the spelling) him and that would make me feel better for myself.
I was bullied ever since the 3rd grade when I started at a new school. Before that I was always ignored. You are lucky to have loving parents who cared. I was always bullied by everyone at school, everyone said I was retarded and made fun of me and threw things at me, and at home I was ignored or yelled at or hit by the mean grown ups in my life... I want to run away one day and start a new life in a far away place and change my name and everything...
I had to deal with that in elementary/middle school whats weird is now that the people that bullied me are some of my best friends now (i guess people change)
I feel for you. I was bullied too, and I bullied in return. I wish I could find the person I bullied in 6th grade, because I would like very much to ask his forgiveness.
but I've managed to dealt with them here on You Tube better then I could as a kid.I'm not braging just explaining only you're right about fears having an effect on you.
I only have one major fear even at this age & you can laugh & it might be a mistake only to this day I sleep with the light on at night
in my room & I know people say, the same stuff that's there in the dyalight is in the dark, but they're wrong.
I agree with you Rob. Bullying does have an effect. I was bullied a lot in my elementary and middle school and it always made me have low self-esteem and fear. Also anger and hostility because I never really had the pressure to hold my emotions inside. I remember there was times where I didn't want to go to school because I didn't what to see what could happen to me. This is such a damn true video.
I'm the same age as you Rob and regardless of the fact I'm from Britain, I can certainly remember that like the teachers you had, they were very ignorant of such issues compared teachers nowadays. I was never bullied, but I deplore bullying both then and now, and now wish that back then I had a stronger will to not just stand by when I witnessed it. You rock Rob, and I'm glad to see you've emerged as such a decent and funny guy! KEEP IT UP DUDE!

This comment has received too many negative votes show
There are to many "ummms" in this video which makes this video boring and lose its "I feel sorry for you" theme.
Do you watch you own vidoes before posting them?
