Actually my coming out to my mom was very similar...she asked who I got pregnant and I said no one, and that I probably never would. Needless to say, she put 2 and 2 together and now she knows. We are actually probably a lot closer than before so good job on telling your sister. It will probably just get better from there!

I came out to my sister when she was back from college one day before you! Basically things went from "Merry Christmas" to "I'm gay, kbai!" all in the same day. Ugh it went well but coming out is so. frickin. hard. I find it kind of... peculiar that you came out to your family first! For me, it was a lot easier to come out to friends than it has been for family. In fact, my sister was the first family member I've told. Anyways, congrats and happy New Years!

I don't know if I'm gay or bi so I just settle for saying I like guys and they can decide what that means for them... why put a label to it. All I know is that now I am comfortable with it. 2011 was a huge year for me. I just made Emile Hirsch my background on my phone after I got drunk and exclaimed how sexy I thought he was during a commercial for the darkest hour. It was good though because no one cared.
