Dos guevos,,,,,,,,,,,ni los de paisano lo pillan por mucho que se pinten. Me mola y que se jodan los que no quieren que se rian de ellos. Un saludo a mis amigos al resto que lo vea ya saben.
Just watched it for the second time. I saw it at the drive in too, when I was a wee lad with my parents in the family wagon.
The cinematography, locations and chase sequences are astounding and without compare. Too bad the erstwhile "story" and dialogue are so winch inducing. I recommend watching the first hour. Try not to even hear the dialogue.
Why is it every car chase movie has a uncompleted road/bridge project with some sort of ramp - begging for some dude with sideburns and a muscle car to catch some air ? LOL
this might be old - but as I posted about this, once upon a time, the naked chick at 0:43 on the motorcycle has a backside that deserves an all-night doggy-stylng.
It's a typical early 70's brain fu@k movie. I've watched it dozens of times and see a new detail every time. At one point he's out in the desert and the steering wheel is on the right side of the car. The only way to flip a negative and have the sound work is on purpose. Just one of dozens of little tricks and meanings in this flick...
seriously i was all hyped out about the driving and all excited and then bam he hits the bulldozer, i was like :S what the hell just happened lol to this day i dont know if i was a tired and didnt pay attention to the words good but what was the point of that?
I think he wanted to die the way his girlfriend did which was by doing what she loved. She loved surfing and died surfing. He loved driving fast and died driving fast.
along with two lane blacktop this movie was a great cult classic

A strangely great movie. Or a great strange movie. The more you watch it, the more the categories shift and revise themselves.

Audioslave's video for "Show Me How To Live" is based on this movie. I just realized it when I saw this trailer.

Guns and Roses took the "Smash, rape" line from the radio in this for one of their songs too. F'n classic. This is the _real_ grindhouse.

Great movie, saw it when it came out.The idiot who drove us to the theater, was TOO influenced and got a speeding ticket ticket afterwards.
my only problem with the flick was i think Kowalski was TOO much of a Walter Mitty.
