  • ma ew kîshk ezmane daxvn, min gotbo ew stranêt kurdî bêjin

  • @NawrozNawrozi To my knowledge, Omar Khayyam did not write in the Kurdish language, so what is wrong with this wonderful family singing Kayyam's exquisite Sufi poetry in Persian? You truly are full of it...

  • @NawrozNawrozi the most stupid thing you can do is insulting people based on their language

  • @ebi2019 I am not sure you are an Iranian kurd

  • Can anyone put the words of this magnificent song and also translate it

  • Farid, Can you please delete these comments. And to those who may be wondering if all of us Iranians / Kurds have filthy mouths, I must say: NO, Some of us are actually trying hard to distinguish ourselves from the rest. The ones you see commenting here have fled the basement where they were originally sent to. Who let them out of the basement, I don't really know, but my apologies to those who are disturbed by all this animosity and name calling.

  • @Aironmind shame on you for using such foul language in the context of such beautiful music but I agree with your point. Kurds, Afghans, Tajiks are all different tribes of the Greater Persia. I was borne in Kabul, Afghanistan but I am very proud of artists like Kamkarha, Shams Ensemble, Sheyda Group and Ustaad Lotfi and similar Iranian artists They are our shining stars. They are demonstrating how smart, capable, cultured and delightful our people can be.

  • @Aironmind SO Kurds living in Turkey are Kurdish speaking Turks? No, they Kurds who are citizens of Turkey. Calm down and Khodafez. By the way this is beautiful.

  • @donmarley69 No Kurds in Turkey are not Kurdish speaking Turks. They are Kurdish speaking origin from Iran. As you well know in the course of history because of wars some parts of Iran (i.e. Persia) was lost and the Iranian people (such as Kurdish speaking Iranians) stayed living under rule of new countries such as Turkey, Irak, Syria etc. Also the name of “Kurdistan” is from Persian language and is called to the area Kurdish speaking Persians are living in Iran.

  • In last century Reza Shah from Pehlevi dynasty asked United Nations to call Persia as Iran because its local name was Iran.

  • This is Persian music, the song, instruments, and poem. The group, is from Sanandaj of Iran having mainly their concerts in Tehran. The leader of group is also married with a lady from Tehran who is also singing beautifully Persian in this song. Those who are a little bit educated know that PERSIA means IRAN. In its whole history, until recently, Iran was called Persia in western countries so all people living in Iran were called Persians no matter if they were Lors, Beluchis, Kurds, Azeri etc.

  • @Aironmind At first: Kamkars is a kurdish ensemble!

Every educated Iranian knows that IRAN just means Nation of Arians. If Iran would called Persia, than they have exlud the Kurdish, Beluchis and Pashtunis tribe of the Arians, and this means Persia would inhabited only by Persians. But this is not true. Kurds are the descendants of the Medes. I am not against the Persians, but i have enough from their ignorance and arrogance.

I am for an arrangement of all Arian tribe,

  • viva kurdistan we all proud of u kamkars

  • PERSIAN MUSIC. Not only the music and performance is beautiful but the best part is the mixture of PERSIAN poet KHAYYAM’s poems who says that the Kuzegar (Creator) who makes such beautiful vases (creatures) can not be found in his workshop (Kargah, the universe). Khayyam is the first philosopher who more than 800 years ago claimed that the Mother Nature is the creator who creates and destroys (birth and death) and there is no other world!

  • @bvazvan that is a very nice discription. thanks. I agree with you totally, I am Kurdish from Kurdistan, and I have always prefered Persian music over all the other kind of music and my defence for that is, they completely apply their emotions to what they do and they do it the best.

  • @dataman121 Are you kurd of nowhere land? I don't think you are even a kurd. Kurds of Iran like myselves are proud ob being Iranians. Don’t you asshole know that all instruments that Kamkaran are playing is made in other areas of Iran and not in Kurdistan. Even Kamkaran themselves say they are proud of being Iranian and do not like Kurds who want to separate themselves from other Iranians. Go and study better the history asshole!

  • Here are two rubayiat of Khayyam in this music:

جامی است که عقل آفرین میزندش

صد بوسه ز مهر بر جبین میزندش

این کوزه‌گر دهر چنین جام لطیف

می‌سازد و باز بر زمین میزندش

    در کارگه کوزه‌گری رفتم دوش

دیدم دو هزار کوزه گویا و خموش

    ناگاه یکی کوزه برآورد خروش

    کو کوزه‌گر و کوزه‌خر و کوزه فروش

  • @bvazvan Do you know where I can find these rubayiat in English? Could you translate them for me?

  • Not only the music and performance is beautiful but the best part is the mixture of Persian poet Khayyam’s poems (rubaiyat) that shows the Kuzegar (Creator) who makes such beautiful vases can not be found in his workshop. Khayyam says that there is no such a Creator that religions claim on! Khayyam is the first philosopher in the world who more than 800 years ago claimed that the Mother Nature is the creator who creates and destroys (birth and death) and there is no other world!

    Poem:

  • shahkare sepas azizandastetun dard nakone

  • @shabnam1237

Everything beautiful . It would be much greater if one the players had used violin .

May I suggest Kamkar team to consider .

  • @Rasoulification

I´m not a etnocentrical person. But the Violin is not a Persian instrument, it´s European, so in that case it dosen´t belong to persian culture. But I agree, it would have been beautiful with the Violin. But nevertheless, persian culture alongside with Suffism that deribes from Islam is the world greatest culture.

  • @SteauaBucuresti Do you know that violin is made based on Persian instruments such as Gharche and Kamanche. There was no violin in Europe when iranians had several thousands ago invented first string instrument. If you look at the history of music instruments, you see that most of vestern instruments are from Iran. Furthermore, Suffism is not drived from Islam but is a way to scape from Islam. Suffism God is Love not Allah neither Lord!

  • beautiful beautiful voice and language but my mother language is arabic I wish learn Kurdish Persian Turkish lovely languages

  • @Reem1960 Thanks for your kind comments, Reem. You are one of the few open-minded Arabs that appreciate the music of Kurds and other people in the Middle East.

Indeed, you are listening to one of the best Kurdish groups from Kurdistan of Iran.

Actually, if you love someone, it's easy to learn their language. Many Kurds speak Arabic, Farsi, Turkish, and other languages, but our disctatorship regimes in Turkey, Iran and Syria do not let their people to learn Kurdish. Hope they see the light.

  • @GoraniMan good point

  • بسیار عالی

بسیار عالی و باز هم بسیار عالی

  • Dastet Dard nakoneh Farid jan & Thank you so much for posting this beautiful Video and biography of the group!
