why do you feel the need to play the pictures at 90 pics per second? You can't see any of them that way... Otherwise great recording of a classic piece.
we're playing this in my youth orchestra. we're not going as fast, but it's so fun to play! it gets my adrenaline pumping. too bad i'm violin 2 for this piece...
we're currently playing this in both of the string orchestras i'm in. the cello part's really easy, mostly Ds, so we go into all different positions to make it more exciting

Yeah, there's only like, one note the cello part plays. I felt so sorry for the cellists who played this during our concerts, because they had to sit around and listen to our awesome violin parts XD

I feel as if I'm going out to war yet while I'm walking I'm weighing the good and the bad. I try to convince myself i'll be all right but some part of me is reminding myself that this is war and there's no guarantee i'll survive. We have this stupid system of playing the most requested song by the students for pep rally's and games and it's always been some lady gaga or katy perry shit. That's fine to listen to on your own time but don't have people who've spent years practicing and using their instruments to play radio songs. I mean really....
@MrSparkx27 I haven't touched my violin since I quit orchestra a year ago and now my fingers aren't well trained anymore. TT_TT I used to be able to play A class pieces... but now I even have to struggle trying to play B or C class pieces.
@1819sylvia don't get desperate! I'm sure that if you practice enough you can get your skills back very quickly! I play guitar (not professionally) - and for me - once I have learned something, even if I don't play it for a long time I need a little time to remember :) I wish you luck with the playing and remember - even if you are not a professional player, music is a great hobby :)
i first heard this piece being played by members of the senior orchestra... my friends and i aspired to play it someday, and we learned it. Love this piece; i don't understand why more people shouldn't listen to it.
I dont understand why a work of beauty like this that took years for someone to come up with and decades for them to reach an education high enough to take on such a call. When today music is a mass produced stream of money that has no desire to affect someones thinking or even touch base with their emotions. This video may only have half a million views but the song itself is timeless.
