This movie reminds me of the game Fallout. Youve got your raiders, screamers which I am assuming are super mutants based on the fact they are green in the film and the crazy vault society. I think until they remake this its the closest thing you can get to a fallout movie.

The game "Fallout" was based on "Mad Max" and "A boy and his dog"!

The raiders come mostly in design from "Mad Max" and the Vaults come from "A boy and his dog". Dogmeat on the other hand is a combination, it is an australian cattle dog breed (like the dog from mad max) and Vic from "A boy and his dog" occasionally called Blood "dogmeat" whenever he was angry at him.

The film never really explains how that machine works. I mean if it works by way of a needle then that would be painful and I am surprised he just jumps of the bed and has no reactions..

Well she says that this is about population control, so apparently a fertile male cannot exist in their society. Don't know why they marry him, but it might be part of their custom.

Btw, there're enough sperm samples in our sperm banks that we could kill off all males on earth and still have more than enough sperm for reproduction - as long as we have females. Seems there're plenty of males that'll jerk off.
