So....ehm....why didn't Ezio just shoot the barrels, when he was still chasing the cart on horse? Or how about on the middle of the bridge, he would have cut of his chasers as well. The unnecessary on-rail shooter would have been avoided and this whole mission would have been so much easier and faster.
