***** Thank you Mr. Buchert! Isn't it strange? I suspect by this time MOST people in our enlightened culture KNOW that X-mass is of PAGAN origin (check it out on the Internet). God plainly CONDEMNS following after the heathen and adding to or taking from God's inspired words in the Bible (Deuteronomy 12:30-32; Jeremiah 10:2-5). Yet most CHOOSE to ignore it or "spiritualize" it away. Praise God, we have not indulged in this pagan ritual for over 46 years. The TRUTH has made us FREE!
I grew up in a Methodist home. It was a big deal. As an adult of around 50 years, God opened my eyes. I embrace His Holy Days now. I pray for the return of our Lord and Savior with power and with glory to rid this world of corrupt governments and false religions. That is my hope and my peace. I am now His witness and His servant. Praise God from whom all blessing flow.
Unpopular ideas are not excepted at all! Ive brought this same idea to church folks that think the season still has meaning towards Jesus. Not one disciple celebrated His birth or decorated trees after He left. Paul never wrote about it or encouraged to sow a LYING seed into the minds of children. Parents are usually the first to show their kids lying and disobedience is ok thru Santa and idols. They sow evil seeds in the kids, thru their acts, then the devil puts forth growth in the kids mind.
