I can understand why people decide to get nose jobs..it definately stems out of being insecure. When i was younger my father used to tease me and say I have a big nose...(so i'd tell him well i inherited it from you haha). Everyone is self conscious i feel as i matured my features changed and my nose fits my face better than when I was younger...but i wouldn't mind getting a little work done to refine my nose and make it look perfect =)
big nose is in your genes, so you can have a surgery to fix the nose shape but not the genes.. this will not change the genetic problem and the genes will still be passed on to your kids who will undoubtedly have a big nose too!

I can understand why people decide to get nose jobs..it definately stems out of being insecure. When i was younger my father used to tease me and say I have a big nose...(so i'd tell him well i inherited it from you haha). Everyone is self conscious i feel as i matured my features changed and my nose fits my face better than when I was younger...but i wouldn't mind getting a little work done to refine my nose and make it look perfect =)

But as you said, white people also try to look like darker people, and that was my point all along: People are not trying to look "white". the report need some correction. It is not so wide spread not it is not necessary European style nose. this does not make sense at all. Arab countries have the same fashion if you consider it! Look at most of Lebanese or Egyptian actress or singers they have almost entirely plastic surgery.It is ok for some people with bad figure noses or deformed organs to have plastic surgery but not a fashion it is not healthy.

As for race the most dominant DNA haplogroup among Arabs are J1 and J2 this make up about 50% of Iranian gene pool. Arabs have mix with Iranians since 1400 years ago. Persian language has 60% Arabic vocabulary, and the way of writing is the same. Iranian adopted Arabic culture and Islam is a dominant factor in Iran. Iranians hajve lost their ancient identities and have been arabized.
