Wow! I had this record and LOVED it! I listened to it constantly. Unfortunately, my brother got mad at me and took a pair of scissors to it and the Annie soundtrack. I still have both albums as well as the replacement Annie record. I never found another record of Aileen Quinn's. :(

I had this when I was 12 or 13 - I loved it! :D I remember so many of the songs - I Think Rainbow Connection was on there and a cute song called Keep on Singing - as well as ""Songs Are Around Whenever You Need Them" and other cute preteen appropriate songs. Those were the days! This was really a nice album for kids!

After all these years, we are drawn back to our roots. When I was 4 years old, everyday I would come home from preschool and play this record and dance my heart out. It seems impossible to find the album, again, but I will find a way. Will someone please post the song "You Make Me Feel Like Dancing"? If I can find the album in my mom's garage, I will post more. Enjoy the play of life and keep dancing!

Hey Squishalicious, its scary how alike we sound! Every time I have a tough moment in my life either play Bobbys Girl on repeat or watch Annie or her other films like...em,anyway...Annie thursdays? Amazing! Im part of the annie society in college - I can sure imagine the pure aileen related high jinks wed get into if we were together! OH my! I haven't heard this since I was 13!! I don't know what happened to my copy of the album, but I remember buying it and playing it to death! This was a cute little album - had some stuff from the Muppet Movie on it and other cute preteen stuff. Thanks for sharing - what a hoot! :D

I loved TGSC! Are you a big fan of TGSC? Was Aileen abou 14 years old when she with long brown braids guest starred on The Great Space Coaster back in the year 1985? I spoke to her 1st cousin Lauren Quinn here on you tube! She does have a beautiful singing voice! I saw her as Annette in the broadway version of Saturday Night Fever.
