Ps.... This discussion has been going on as long as I have know Christian Music. People chriticized Petra and Stryper as well. They had harsh words for DcTalk. " Too worldly " Guess what folks. Jesus didn't come to save the righteous. "I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance'” (Lk. 5:27-32). Also, did Jesus hang out with the pharisees or the adulterers, the theives, the lonely and downtrodden? Get out of the way, and let God move. Meeting people where they are.

Um..I know Melodie is "christian", but none of these songs sound christian. I understand that we must attract souls, but the Word of God does that, we shouldnt have to involve worldy music to get our point across. What ever happened to using heavenly music to bring souls. The church is not a dance club and this is what these songs sound like. Wow!

@kmari127 - Who are we to tell God how to do his job? The church get's in the way of what He is trying to do so often, it is really sad. We spend more time criticizing what others are doing to bring in the lost, than we spend time bringing in the lost. You love "heavenly music". That's great. I can tell you from a spotted past nothing turned me off more, than " heavenly music ". This however, is doing what Jesus did, reach out to people where they are. Ps. I now DO like "heavenly" music.

why are u judging the sound of a beat, a beat does not make something unclean only the one who speaks unclean about, makes it unclean,

the words we speak makes us that, she uplifts his name, why do you limit it?
