i have to say that the r8 along with all audis and most other german cars may well be good but are just not that interesting. Their a bit boring compared to other manufacterers. I think your issue with Audi specifically your TT deals with a defect it had the First year it was introduced. The problem was found when drivers would lose control on the Auto-baun. the problem was there wasn't enough downforce on the rear of the car to keep it stable at high speed's which caused the car to wreck. They fixed it the following year by adding a little lip spoiler on the rear trunk lid. That car was more of a visual design exercise than an engineering feet.

Your actually wrong. The 0-60 of the 911 Turbo is 3.7 and the R8 is 4.6 that is a big difference, not dead equal! And the 911 has a higher top speed. If you want to compare the R8 to a Porsche it would be the Porsche 911 Carrera 4S!
