this is one of the most creative vocaloid videos ive seen yet. great use of 80's anime, anime music and game sounds, creating a very specific atmosphere that really matched the talent of this vocaloid. making this ancient otaku feel very nostalgic.
Indeed it is. Try looking up "Vocaloid" and seeing how advanced the Japanese ones are. You can barely tell that it's a computer most of the time, and sometimes it's downright impossible. If no other, check out this video, they sound like real classical singers: watch?v=5bZ3PTtqj38

rly sweet ann is the only good american vocaloid the rest are there to wonder about .... but other than that the jap vocaloids are so much better.

Sweet Ann and Big Al are Swedish.
Prima, Leon, Lola, and Miriam are UK (British).
As of now, there are no American Vocaloids.

Are you sure they are swedish? They don't sound very swedish to me ):
Hyperaktiviteten 2 years ago
yup. Google, PowerFX: Sweet Ann and Big Al
To me, Ann has a thick accent, and I don't mean just by program alone. I mean you can hear it like you can hear Miku trying to sing in English.
Decembirth 2 years ago
@Hyperaktiviteten Just because they are swedish, doesn't mean they sing in it. Ann here has a Austrilia accent.

@Decembirth Sweet Ann is supposed to be Swedish, but she was voiced by an Aussie. Also, Big Al I think was voiced by someone with an American accent.
