do what it "sayes"? Please, if you're going to represent the Gospel, do it in excellence. Also, Romans 3:23 doesn't end with a period. It ends with a comma and continues into verse 24, "and are justified freely by grace through the redemption that came from Christ Jesus our Lord." Sometimes punctuation is the coolest part of the Bible and if you've ever loved the comma, you'll love the one that's right there.

The old testiment is the old covenant which is basically follow the rules and life on earth will be good for you. The new testiment and the new comvenant is faith in Jesus on the Cross and it will go well for you in the next life. There is a lot more to it though.

I disagree. The old testiment and new testiment is actually a bunch of books written many years after jesus suppossedly existed by a bunch of racist, sexist, fascist who wanted to impose their morality on everyone. The myths are thoroughly refuted by scientific evidence. The morality is at best vacuouse, at worst are a threat to the happiness and prosperity of all life on earth.

Evolution proves the bible is wrong. Page one, chapter one, verse one. The bible is proven wrong with a basic understanding of astronomy and physics.

You need someone to pay your fine. You are unable to pay your fine so Jesus Died on the cross for your sins so that eventhough you sinned he died for your sins and if you put your trust in him and take him as your Lord and savior then you can be saved. Repent be baptized be born again of the spirt and you will go to heaven.

The first part of the Bible goes through showing What God expects of us. The laws and shows that we are unable to follow all of these laws on our own and we fall short of What God wants of us. To get to heaven on your own you have to have never told a lie, never hated, never lusted, never hated but since you have done atleast one of these you can not get to heaven on your own.

The Bible is the word of God and man was his instrument. Just like a pen is the instrumment that man uses.  You should do the part where you humble yourself and get rid of all that pride and Turn to Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

That's all very nice, but the bible is no more the word of god than the quoran or the Tibetan book of the dead, or any of hundreds of other so called "sacred" writings.

Sorry-you can't pick and choose-either the bible is the word of "god"-all of it-or it is not.

All of it is the word of god but not all of it applies after the resurrection of the Christ. When the old testament and the new testament are in conflict it resolves in favor of the new. Such as "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" as opposed to stoning those who disobey mosaic law. You'll find there is a big difference between being god's servants and being his sons and daughters.

Because the bible says it is the word of god.

The bible contradicts itself on many points in both "testaments". If you read it all instead of cherry picking you would know that.

You should read what's already on the forum before jumping in with your articles of "faith" dictated by your clergy.
