僕も昔、北見競馬場でばんえいの競走中止を見ました。第二障害の途中で突如馬が座り込み動かなくなってしまいました…そしてその馬はそのままコース上で亡くなってしまいました…心臓発作だったのかな？その馬の生産者か馬主さんだと思われる家族連れの子供が泣きながらスタンドから去って行く情景が今でも思い出されます。
