Worked on a gaspipeline here in Australia about twenty years ago.. on a Tesmec 1300... just as a swampy... Great job. It was a parntnership between Transfield, Willbros and another company... McMahons or someone..cant really remember.

We had a heap of Texans working on the crew. Sat around everynight drinking bourban, telling bullshit stories and singing really bad country music... Great blokes, great times....

  • i know your daddy. i worked with him in Florida for latex

  • Nice video, have you seen the video of the pipeline job in russia that they had about 10 of those crane/dozers and something went wrong and they all tipped forward droping the pipe and turning over all the cranes? I'll try to find a link to it for you incase you havent seen it. It's pretty wild.

    Thanks ,Rob

  • Some EXCELLENT photos there! I'm an online course designer, and I've been looking for photos of bridging, bracing and cribbing for a course we're doing on pipeline support systems.

Is there any possibility of getting your permission to use a few of these pictures?

You would of course receive appropriate credit.

Again, awesome photos! I hope to hear from you.
